A huge factor is studios using insane price gouging. They just want to make money at the end of the day. For instance, bid out a shot for $25000, work might cost $10000 total for everyone involved and the studio pockets huge amounts of money. Now scale that up, say a major vfx shot being $1.5M and the studio keeping $600000. Things like this for all aspects of the filming are what royally screws over prices.
@@KoreanSpy clearly you didn’t read my comment. Obviously vfx work is expensive. I am talking about how studios cut massive overhead for their own profit.
If they needed 1.4k artists for these effects, it is HILARIOUSLY bad for the amount of people working on it and how much they must have paid them to do so. All this obsession with vfx and also with trying to have "realistic" graphics in games is blowing up budgets to unreasonable levels, and the cliff edge for failure is gigantic. all of this results in companies trying their hardest to completely avoid taking risks due to the prospect of failure being such a financial disaster, that they rather not want to run into it... end result : lukewarm bs like Marvel and Disney Star Wars movies, and games which take absolutely no risk and excite noone anymore... but hey, at least they look great.
1.4k may seem a lot but it really is not, there are multiple studios working on these shots. There's also an incredible time crunch because of disney/marvel. That's why most VFX seems unpolished
Ah yes the country that is known to underpay and overwork their employees (to death in some cases) made vfx in low budget and time. I wonder how they achieved that
@@gotmoresoul Did you notice that the AAA game industry is crashing, uglified WOKE games are not selling and recent movies and tv shows are a woke mess that nobody want to see. Having the best employees imply that you disciminate.
employees dont have any choice in what makes media "woke" or whatever that means, CEOS and bosses make those decisions, and if you want AI to replace the artists that made all your favorite movies, then you dont like art respectfully
for god sake, learn 3d not AI, nobody gonna watch your cashgrab AI made stuff that you made in 2 second. you won't fool anyone. if you somehow live under the rock, people nowadays avoid anything that resemble AI. nowadays the word AI mean Scam. because most of it just a scam cashgrab content designed to fool some sucker into giving them money.
probably not that much (if it will) because it's like saying "Will AI reduce cost of painting and art?" it can be used as a tool but not for creativity and vision
hi AI bros, are you interested in buying a package of 5000+ movies made by AI in 10 minutes for $800. c'mon, movies made by human is a garbage, 5000+ AI movies can replace all of your favorite movies definitely worth more than any Netflix and Disney+ series and movies combined
And another really interesting 3D-related topic! This channel is unique somehow, thanks!
VFX is a lot of work

People need to make money. Time is money. Same reason why a lawyer and a doctor can charge so much. Sure they study a lot. But vfx are specialists.

thanks sir very informative video....
good thinjg the film industry is making so much money right now!
Oow ! Python in VFX areas
VFX certainly does require alot of work, experience, and money 💰
How to do match moving and its best tutorial videos Which one is it? 3D Human Body! Please tell me!
I just want AI to exponentially accelerate this process.
Thanos sceen didnt require 1400 artists. 1399 werent enought to make thanos scene
30/50% cost for the work vfx do I feel is low I thought they were areound 70%
Funny how Japan did a whole vfx masterpiece that rivals Hollywood for 15 million. Something ain’t matching in the US.

Probably underpaid workers
Because WOKE employees cost a lot and are not performing. AI can't replace them fast enough.
Yea, I don't understand why there are no studios comprised of only un-woke employees, especially if they are cheaper and perform better

No it wont. You still need to pay for the services of the AI.

... no it ain't
and why looks so crappy? ...
VFX artists have really tight deadlines and they don't have the time to make it look as good as they could
