Isnt it strange? Maybe we are collectively approaching this as well. I mean what if mankind designed and implemented a utopia? Would we actually hate it?
While I appreciate the convenience of streaming services, I have to admit that I pretty much never scan through any of them because I know I’ll ultimately give up looking. I always decide between several new things to watch in advance and if I can’t get them anywhere, I either watch something I’ve already seen or do something else. I hate media oversaturation. It honestly ends up being more of a headache than a benefit.
This reminds me of that one Screen Slaver quote "Travel, relationships, risk, every meaningful experience must be packaged and delivered to you to watch at a distance"
Remember the two of blockbuster mascot animals ray and Carl from the pet store yeah they're animal brothers shame they have not return after all blockbuster locations close down
Yeah nah the vocal fry in this video is really jarring for me. Keep doing you though brother, just remember to be yourself. Authenticity is your best friend :)
I truly understand the point of this video, but allow me to voice my own thoughts. I myself am a young person, who has grown up with this technology but i also grew up having my parents or grandparents buy DVDs or blue rays and i have memories of the getting pizza and watching star wars around our tv with my family, but throughout my days the relation of having this tech and having the pop culture knowledge has brought me some of my greatest friends i will ever have. The technology isnt the problem, its how its utilized and how its balanced that matter. I also understand the feeling of not having anymore adventure, but if you think about it the tech and world around changing so rapidly makes our lives special and its own adventure due to the fact that we are experiencing something that generations after us will only experience in a totally different setting. Life itself is an Adventure, being alive and experiencing what its like to type on a laptop, type on a phone, view media that we could only ever see in a theater is an adventure. Adventure comes from what we make of life and what we use around us.
Very good video yet again. It did hit hard especially when it comes to the adventure. I did make a similar video, but regarding video games 9 months ago, because in gaming too you have this problem of not knowing what game to play, to check reviews instead of being surprised and not struggling with your experience since you can just look up and search for walkthroughs, gamers might've become dumber thanks to all the accessibility. I compared that to just going out without a phone, it does feel similar. The abundance of everything really makes us lazier, less motivated, and kinda kills our will in a way. In the gaming sense, this is why Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Bloodborne and Sekiro can feel like therapy, they make you remember how much you struggled in your childhood to wrap up the games, to think for yourself... All the accessibility is a double edged sword.
I naturally have a really croaky voice and it's made worse when I record audio as I higher my pitch. I'll try and sound a bit more natural for my next video, I can understand why you guys hate it and I'm sorry!
@@FirstClassJunkI don't think you should change that, having identity is important, it's part of the charm, I always noticed when you end sentences like "movieee", but I find that funny. Just remember that we can't please everyone, and most importantly, your audience likes it, they're more important
