Hello Lovely Alice - thank you for showing us this lovely book😊 There are so many patterns in this - and you can make them however big or small you like. I love that you showed them in the different sizes showing how the hook size & yarn would make a difference. I like the idea of fridge magnets - if I managed to make them all I could have different themes on my fridge, you know one month 'space', the next month 'sea creatures' 🤣 Hugs ❤xx
It’s got so many different little subsections- you’d almost have a new theme for every month!! I’m super tempted to get some mini magnets and make them for some little Christmas gifts!! ❤️
i adore the space section, easily my favourite but that little satchel is way too cute!!!! love how much this book covers too, was shocked when you mentioned the mythical section
It’s got such a great variety of subsections!! The space section is definitely my favourite too… but there are so many little cuties throughout! I just love it!
They are from the Amigurumi monsters books!! I love them 🥰 I’ve done a book review on both the books (they are in my top 5 favourite crochet pattern books ever!!).
Hello lovely Alice!!! That book is super cute, and I love what you made! I would for sure have to make with larger yarn, haha. I am a size 4 girl! I don't even like going to a DK weight, so the thought of crocheting super tiny scares me, haha! I hope you have a wonderful week! Hugs ❤
I’ve been the same for so long!! I’m so in love with the tiny alien though- I may have to attempt more tiny things (but with breaks in between to give my arthritic hands a rest!) ❤️
Hi Alice, love the look of this book. I would make them slightly bigger. I don’t have a favourite as they are all great. Thank you for the book look and I hope you are having a wonderful week so far x
I think that this book is really cute. I love the cute items that you have made. I think that I will buy this book. Thank you for doing a book look on this.
If you like the book you can definitely do the patterns in a larger hook and thicker yarn- my ‘big’ mushroom was made with a 4.5mm hook and came out lovely so it’s definitely do-able! X
I make most of my amigurumi with crochet cotton 10 and a 2mm hook. I use any pattern I can find. I don't think that I would go much smaller. I love crochet
I’ve never been good at ‘delicate’ stuff before but I have to say I absolutely love the neatness of the tiny alien- think it’s the smallest hook I’ve ever used. I’m definitely going to do more with my smaller hooks now.
@@starlightandstitches I absolutely love the smaller hook. I taught myself how to read doily patterns. I enjoyed the complexity and variety of stitches used in each one. Each row is different. All crocher is fun.
my hubby just said i have seen a book i know you will love, he sent me a link yep david and charles i laughed so loud as i have done so many of their patterns already o just think he likes the little creatures lol

So glad you enjoyed the review! Lots of people are saying they’d use a slightly larger ply so you’re not on your own there! It’s great they can be worked up in any size! Have a lovely week Jenny! ❤️

So cute. 👽 Your little dinky alien would make a cute keyring 😊
I just love him- he’s so tiny!! I definitely need to buy more keyring blanks now… and maybe some mini magnets! I’d put them all over my fridge! ❤️
