When Zullie the Witch and her companions entered Shulva, there was no knowledge on the sunken city, it was lost, it was forgotten. What were they searching in those cursed depths: forbidden knowledge, fame or mere treasures? All of this is unknown and not important, because the witch found something she never thought could be in those ancient ruins. She found a part of herself. After that some say she died for the miasma of the lost city. Other insist that she escaped the cycle of the word. But few knows that she went beyond this and other words, seeking the laws and rules that make them work.

Having broken into the unintended DLC location must have been so cool. You can say that any location in a video game is always mysterious and fun to explore, but only in the sense that you, as a player, are suspending your disbelief for a while and experiencing a meal prepared by excellent chefs, but being one of the first people to wander into a truly *unintended* world of darkness must have been so incredibly hype
That's actually a great story, I'm not even one who knows you much, this is my first time visiting. @@tannertadlock7741 I believe fashion souls is still uses as a general term for playing dress up in the game. It usually stems from the fact that armour isn't *that* important to gameplay, so when people ask what armour to wear the general answer is "whatever you want"
@@Zikar probably that, more likely. But they always seem to bring that conversation back to 2.
Elden ring? I think the customization in that is on a similar level if not better.
@@janedoe4929 unfotunately, while elden ring has a ton of armor sets, somehow it feels like it lacks diversity still. its easy to just look cool, but i found that cosplaying anything not-elden ring is tricky.
Can't imagine the Souls community without ya, Zulie! Here's to the next 500k!
...This is my only knowledge of the Souls community.
In fact, this is more canon than the actual plot as I don't even know the storyline.
To the 1 million mark, and beyond even that! 🥂
Damn, Zullie went from being someone mentioned in item descriptions to becoming a pvp god. That wasn't enough so she then became a DLC burglar. But even that wasn't enough, so she became a hacking icon. That's a sick story!
I love how these stories arise. Sometimes I look at my own stories from Souls and it is truly magical how they come about. So many different fascets of the game to be poured into at such extreme depths. Been following your journey since a couple thousand subs and its been awesome watching you gain traction and the recognition you deserve!
Yo is that the real Mattie-chan? 👀
@@burgerkingas7027 Indeed 🙈
"...it has been truly life-changing"
Yeah, you literally adopted a new persona!
Hahaha, congrats on 500k, hope to see many more for you!
You've done the community a good service in your time on the internet already and I hope you continue to do well 😁
Congrats on the big milestone Zullie! It's hard to imagine the overall Souls community without you, so it's fun to learn about where it all started. :D I hope you have a nice little celebration for yourself, you've certainly earned it!
3:22 Zullie plotting their next daring plot to break into the unannounced moon dlc for Elden Ring.
Quite fitting for someone who inspects the hidden/cut content of Fromsoft games to have the name of a cut character from DkS2.
That was a cool story. Congratz on 500k subscribers Zullie!
From a heartwarming event, to dabbling in the occult; now Zullie’s story is legendary. Love your videos, keep up the great work!
Zullie definitely should be added into Elden Ring as a summon!!! Thank you for all the wonderful effort you’ve put into making the Souls community into a greater place!
Zullie, and Let Me Solo Her would be cool summons or characters.
what would she do? something strange like patches? she like starts spinning, glitching out, and levitating then explodes shortly after summoning?
@@JuanAntonioGarciaHeredia Perhaps in their eyes it implies that their games aren't completed or finished. Which may be insulting? Idk.
@@JuanAntonioGarciaHeredia What? Fromsoftware and Bandai never have taken down Hack Tools and Mods/Fan Projects, and being a japanese company have nothing to do with it, capcom and square enix also are also a japanese company and support fan projects, the only japanese company that i know that taken down fan projects/mods is nintendo, and isn't even nintendo of japan, it's the nintendo of america.
Wouldnt really make sense story wise, i know patches apears in nearly all souls games but he's more of a miyazaki signature along with the moonlight greatsword.
The Alva/Zullie story has always been one of my favorites in the series. A note of sweetness in a dark world.
LMAO
This reads so awesome! Good Job!

Title: "ridiculous origin story"
What I saw: "wholesome origin story"
This kind of story was like you want to impersonate your witch idol then becomes witch itself but with different kind of magic than your idol have. Great inspiration for my fanfiction
This channel was such a huge driving force in getting me to really, deeply, love and understand Dark Souls.
That is a cute little story, we love you Zullie and thankful for your contributions to this community
Congrats Zullie! Always appreciate the work you put into your craft!
I found you looking through souls lore and out-of-bounds stuff, and got hooked on your videos. Love you Zullie! I hope you keep finding joy and support in this endeavor. Good luck!
Been watching for a long time now, and this wholesome background content just made me want to say thank you for all you do. I love your videos and hearing about your shenanigans back in the day takes me right back to when ds2 released. Loved hearing this story, and your content is some of the best. Thanks for everything, Zullie!
You've brought us so much over the years and it's hard to imagine the souls community today without your influence. Thank you for all you've done!
That is a really cute backstory, and super glad you ended down on this path! Only found your content recently but watching some of your older DS, Bloodbourne, Sekiro, etc. I've found so much more about the games I would adore in the future, so all I would love to say is congratulations on 500k subscribers, and here's to the 1m milestone! You're the best kind of Zullie The Witch anyone could ever ask for!
Zullie Lore, Vaati get on this

Yes, pls fkn do

“Not much is known about the fabled reality-bending witch known as Zullie. Careful explorers will be sure to note a cryptic set of clues left behind in her most recent UA-cam video, however….” - Vaati 😌
He mentions her and Alva briefly in his video on other stuff in the Ringed City.
When I first saw the corpse of Godwyn while playing on my first run I've spent a whole 10 minutes trying to make sense anf failed, and sure enough a couple of days later you made a video about it and was awesome! Thanks for improving our game experience trough your love for detail!
Seeing your channel grow so quickly recently has been an amazing sight to see (especially since I’ve been investing so much time into Elden Ring & Dark Souls the past month…) but I’m super excited for you and the future of your vids!!! Keep up the high quality work!!!
It’s amazing how little stories and people playing along make such crucial memories
My favorite part of the lore is when Zullie says "It's Zullin' time!"
First youtuber to hit one zullion subscribers 😳
Well, you know, there is one legendary Russian youtube guy Zulin. Quite an old person in UA-cam merits and he is quite famous with his long vids about games, so there are even jokes about it and Zulin time where one Zulin-minute is around an hour

Congratulations on coming so far! This was such a great video, it was so heart-warming to see how far you've come. I can't imagine this community without you, so thank you for everything you have done, and I can't wait for when you reach 1 million subscribers.
that transformation at the beginning was so cool. congrats on this milestone!

What a cute and nice story!!! Thanks for sharing Zullie! An honor to be in your presence.
Yayyyyy congratulations!! Here’s to your next 500K! Keep up the amazing work and thank you for all the smiles and amazing information! 💛
Congrats on 500k Zullie!
Edit: I remember hearing the first half of this story, but the second half is new to me, so I'm glad to hear it.
All you did was one simple "name change" hack, then when the Sanctum City DLC was released, you got curious as to why the key was removed and you wanted to see the place itself, so you learned more about "hacking" a game and it lead you there, now finally you're in this position.
Curiosity killed the cat? Nah, it found Zullie the Witch and led her through a glorious lore-based channel. Remember, cats are eternal.
Cosplay souls has always been my favorite aspect of this game. I have many fond memories of helping people with Nameless King dressed in Dragonslayer Ornstein's armor. When I found the Pontiff duel arena, I dressed in the Shadow/ninja armor and used all the Katanas. Just one of my favorite role playing games in how immersive the experience can be for people.
Thanks for your videos Zullie, I couldn't imagine this game series without your presentation of the world. Has helped me understand and love the characters and design so much more :)
Congrats in the achievement Zullie! Cool to know about it lol
I've learned so much about coding quirks and game design thanks to you. Not to mention lore insight and visual design. I wouldn't have it any other way. Here's to the next 500K
insta to the "Favorites" playlist just because of that introduction. This is gold
And there's nothing ridiculous about it. It was quite interesting, if not cute even
What a story, Zullie. Thanks for always making such neat and concise videos on various topics that explains enough without having to be like 15 minutes long.
ikr
Congrats, Zullie! You're easily one of my favorite channels, and I look forward to your videos. I've gone from being casually interested in the FromSoft games to actually playing them myself because of you.
Cheers Zullie! Here's to many more years of insightful and interesting content. All the best to you!🍻
Thank you Zullie, you are truly one of my favourite content creators I’ve had the pleasure of encountering and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you
Onward to 1 million subs!

@@Zack29810 I love and play games since I was a kid. They always were some sort of magic in my eyes . I grew up and decided to get computer science degree because of my interest in this field. I had really tough times and I had doubts about my future, but then I saw her video about Dark Souls, it inspired me and returned the filling of magic inside projects people made. Now every time I watch Zullie’s video it’s a little holiday of joy for me and hard work of “Hacker Witch”, and FromSoftware as well

What a wholesome origin story :D I found this channel cuz of Elden Ring and it being my first Souls game, but plan on playing the entire franchise soon! I'll be sure to watch your old videos as I play the games and can't wait to see how far the games and YOU have come :)
Finally, Zullie the Witch lore
It's fun thinking how the larger trees come from the smaller seeds.
How great to have the lore all in one place! I'm always happy to see DS2 represented in a positive light, and I'm happy you're still repping the purple dress set :)
You know I always curious of why you were called Zullie the Witch but now I know, though I never she originated from DS2 even though I've played it, it was cool to hear about your origin story. Anyways congratulations on 500k, didn't expect to see you'd reach that but I hope to see you reach 1 mil!
Haha, I remember the good old days of Dark Souls 2. That's a fun little story about the origins of your username - I was always a bit surprised you'd latch onto a DS2 character, since it seems to be the game everyone dunks on the most, but I guess your origin story wasn't something as simple as just liking a character! DS2 is still my favourite FromSoft game though!
I remember meeting people who had obviously gone on those Shulva-heists too - I hosted fight clubs on the Iron Keep bridge, and I remember in the weeks before Crown of the Sunken King released, I got a few people showing up with the Sanctum Knight set, Sanctum Repeating Crossbow, and Puzzling Stone Sword!
I’ve been following your account for quite some time now, and you show me things I never knew about the greatest games ever made. Never stop your witchcraft Zullie
This is surprisingly wholesome. I wish you all the best and happy break-in anniversary!
Awesome to see how the channel started. And really grateful you're still putting out such interesting and informative content :)
When I played DS2 for the first time last Fall, I had an absolute blast. Zullie's Witch outfit was one of my highlights, especially when that one coffin switched my gender. Drip in DS2 is unmatched.
Though instead of the hat, I used the veil.
Fast forward a little and I find this UA-camr going by the name of that witch, and it's some of the best content I've seen on the Souls series. Felt like one big coincidence.
I went in and out of that coffin trying to find out what changed bc I was in full armour and couldn’t see my char lol
@@Arinussy Same. Didn't figure it out until later when I went to change my armor.
This seems like as good a time as any to mention that ever since I realized the lore connection with my namesake, I refer to you as "Mom" and wield the Moonlight Greatsword as a family heirloom 😉thanks for all you do to help us appreciate the depth of these games!
Alva: I wonder what Zullie’s up to, she’s been gone for months now-
Morgott: There’s been rumors of a witch wielding strange magics roaming the Lands Between and-
Genichiro: Oh no way same here, I was searching for the second mortal blade and that lady with the oversized floppy hat almost beat me to it
