X70 owner here and am impressed with the X50 like the rest of u. My only gripe is the after sales side. Lack of spare parts as well as lack of technical knowledge of the vehicle is still very evident within Proton. Sort this and Proton will have no issues being the dominant player in the market.
and ppl say that the flagship is expensive lah, should not be more than 100k lah, max is 80k lah... those ppl really irritated me, if can't afford 100k car, don't buy, simple. The amt of tech and refinement of this car is enough to make you buy this. Even if it cost 120k, it is worth the money.

About the sunroof situation, many naysayers will probably go like "Malaysia so hot don't need sunroof lah, can become sauna lah". Hello, there a thing called "blinds". I think pretty much every sunroof comes with them. Nobody is asking anyone to open their sunroofs when the sun is directly nuking the interior of the car. I still appreciate having the extra ambient lighting from a sunroof.
3 cylinder will always have the vibration but it is how their engineers have dampened it so it does not feel like a 3 cylinder inside the cabin. So no worries about it and if in doubt, go and test drive it.

Last time I experience a new car was my dad 2001 Proton Waja . Then now I can afford my own but only Proton Iriz lah . 9 years loan is long . And buying car is not what i can do every year . So i will keep the plastic as long as i could .
Tested drive superb i will get this an ocean blue one this is the best proton i was opting for a secondhand satria neo but then i dont like the small space of the satria then i saw an anouncement last year about the anouncement of x50 i begin to wait which decicded i temporary use my brothers fiesta 1.0 now since its launch planning to get flagship or premium, well i will decide when im getting x50 as my first car under my name as the price is just right below my 100k budget for the premium and add on 5k might be worth for the flagship. The x70 is a v good piece of engineering. It’s really worth twice it’s price. Comparing with d x50, d built quality is a notch up. Not to say d x50 is low quality. These auto braking features is not to protect your car from damage, but to protect pedestrians and cyclists from being hit by your car, or to protect you from rear ending the car in front. It is not designed to brake for dogs, cats, tyres in the middle of the road etc. Because sudden braking may cause danger to passengers in the car or passengers of the car's behind etc.
You compare the sunroof with balcony. The leakage from sunroof can damage the interior which might cost more to fix but in the house you just move the furniture and wipe the floor. Also you'll only notice the leakage when the interior will have the visible leakage marks.
how much is the cheapest version? maybe proton can discuss with each customer what they need and doesnt need to reduces the cost. i bet a lots of malaysian will say they dont need the signal stick. :D
