These 660 rides are KILLER! Love the sound of that exaust. Hope your channel keeps growing, its refreshing to see the skilled riding and beautiful scenery that's in your videos. Can't wait till I get my RS 660 next month. Keep up the great content man!
@@ExtremaRider you're gonna love the RS 660. Bought mine a day before my birthday [on 4.11.24]. .so I'm fairly new. .but the ride is exciting. It doesn't rev as loud as my Honda CBR500r to get up to speed. .which I like. And I've become comfortable with the layout of the knobs on the handlebars and the seating position rather quickly. What color RS 660 you have in mind? I went with the black with red lettering. . .goes good with my Portuguese flag stickers. I'll be posting my RS rides soon.
I live on this back road Mission Blvd. in Hayward. and I just bought my brand new 2024 Aprilia RS 660 [not the extrema]. I've yet to take this niles canyon road to Sunol. Glad you captured some video of this back road. I'll be doing it as well and posting to my youtube channel. Again. .thanks for sharing. :)
@@B-LeeRides well, my first excursion on the RS 660 was from Hayward to Crockett, CA this past Sunday [4.14.24] . . .I think you've been up that way. I did a short walking tour of the town with a 360 camera. I posted it to my youtube channel. I'm sure to revisit it again. This weekend [4.19 to 4.21] I'll head to Turlock for the Portuguese Festival. Should be fun seeing the live bullfights. . .Portuguese style. Reminds me of back home [Azores islands Portugal @ Terceira]. You should come out. .it's not too far from your neck of the woods. The gift these bikes offer is you can go to places you wouldn't spend so much on a car to get you there. Great distance range for the money spent on gas.
@palmtrees89 oh that's cool! I'll check out your channel later. You got that right. I normally drive a big truck so the bike saves me a lot on gas. I've been commuting to work on it, now that the weather is starting to warm up
@@aluisious Agreed. .I was on palomares 2 weekends ago. . .and of course got lost once I hit castro valley. Couldn't find my way to the freeway from there. so I ended up taking a meandering route through the hills and somehow ended up on mission blvd. It was fun though. . .probably not the best ride for an aprilia rs660. . .but for my cbr500 [more cruiser motorcycle seating style] would be a better trip.
Thanks bro! Quickshifter is so good. When I first got the bike I was shifting with the clutch but now most of the time I don't. Only when I'm cruising light on the throttle I'll do a smooth shift with the clutch. So fun to just hold it wide and bang it through the gears. Also on downshifts it rev matches, so you get that sweet blip sound on the way down
Amazing ride mate. I love how smoothly you ride… it looks like you’re going slow at 90mph. To the point that I keep forgetting that your bike is in mph not kmph.
Nice! It will get light on throttle but you need to clutch up to really get it up. Unless you just hammer it in 1st. Makes sure wheelie control is off and turn traction control to 4 or lower. A high TC setting will shut down a wheelie too if it feels that wheel slip at all
Yeah baffle in. You can't remove it unless you cut it out. Just to be clear this bike is not very loud, but it sounds amazing on the gas clicking through gears and has nice grumbling downshifts. Overall pretty quiet when just cruising
@@B-LeeRides thats what i have warten to hear, thanks for the Quick Response! Im thinking about buying one myself but im Not Sure if i wann to get the standard or the extrema
Niles Canyon is not a fun road. It's a road where to feel excited, you have to go so fast that if something happens, the consequences will be permanent. Don't ride at 95 mph down Niles. It's not something you can get away with for long.

I hope he comes to Australia for a riding tour when his channel get huge. There’s so many beautiful places here ride.
Thanks man! I appreciate that. Nice! You're going to love it
You have the riding and editing skills combined. All you need is to get the UA-cam algorithm to start working for you.

Nice! love to hear it. Be safe out there and watch for rocks between the 2 train bridges. Let me know if you find other good roads in the area

No one considers Niles Canyon to be a backroad. It's packed every day with commuters. Palomares is a back road, and much more fun than Niles.

Thanks bro! I really want to be smooth so that's nice to hear
I have a question. .does anyone know if/where the hazard lights button is on this monstrocity? Thanks.
They don't exist. I called the dealership a couple days after I bought it. No Hazards, which is stupid.
I pick mines up on friday . does it wheelie on throttle or do u need to dip the clutch
