In classic you can literally one shot people, and before saying anything, I've started wow in the middle of the first classic (not the new one) both of the games are good, bfa and classic, but one thing for sure, in bfa you have a way harder time, if you can properly play your class, you have so many shits to do while in classic, you have at most 6 button you use all the time.

Yeah "typical Horde maneuvre" equals: using the alliance strats, but with more honor. thus. one v one gank in Tanaris. rather than ten v one.
What the point of plying one on one if your going to lose, isn't winning what your supposed to aim? That's called strategy guys, don't think à soldier in the ww2 or 1 aske his friend to leave him fight one on one with someone, it's dumb, if you fight, it's because you want to win, and if you fight with 3 peoples by your side, you will win whatever happen, call that what you want, it's just using his brain and not being bad at the game, it's a mmorpg, not a fucking solo adventure.

The same holds true with Alliance, it isn't just a Horde thing. They camp Tarren Mill and kill the FP master. Killing anyone that immediately lands. But isn't that what WoW is all about...Alliance vs Horde? Players griefing or not griefing others, unfortunately is part of the game. I personally stopped doing quests and just do dungeons for leveling and gear, due to high levels ganking low levels. I of course enjoy watching Alliance getting mauled by groups of level 45+ as they try to exit SM instances, just part of the game.../shrugs.
@@Gitiffan yes i have no doubt it goes both ways. Allis happen to be more passive pvp wise on my server than horde, but any player, regardless of faction, who ganks in the ways you or i just described, deserves to be ganked in turn, if not corpse camped. It is indeed a part of the game, but to me honor is also still a thing, which is why i prefer pvp brawls, more even playing field. Ppl can play however they want, but if they made their way onto my KoS list, they deserve the time they're about to spend corpse walking.
@@anraiduine1483 I completely agree about corpse camping to those who deserve it. Honor seems to be long gone from when I started playing 14 years ago compared to now. Yes, pvp brawls are fun indeed and I cannot wait for BGs to come online for classic...or has it already? Anywho, I am a very casual player, who probably logged a total of maybe 30-40 some days of playing from 2005-2009, lol. Coming back to classic, I think I have logged a total of 5 days from when I started playing in Sep 7, heh. I don't know if I am ever gooing to make a KoS list, but I will definitely not make it easy for any Alliance that travels through Horde controlled territory.

As someone playing on normal server - how do people get ANYTHING done on pvp servers? Ive yet to quest in a 30+ area thats not absolutely packed with horde. I played on pvp server back in vanilla, and the ganking was an issue in some areas, but you could still go a few hours at a time without encountering horde, depending on the zone of course.
As of now without the honor system horde and alliance actually ignore each other for the most part even in PvP servers, so it's not that big of a problem.
Jonathan Carmo thats always something. On one hand I miss the more ‘pure’ experience of having to contend with horde, on the other hand I was so extremely thankful that I wasnt on a pvp server during my time in stv...the number of mobs i tagged right under the nose of hordes wouldve gotten me killed a thousand times over

@@melontinii I play on Thalnos and 80% of the PvP i encountered was generated by myself if not hardly an alliance strikes first, and i've like 3 chars on different levels and i can say this is what happen most of the time there, i even created a post at Thalnos Facebook group questioning why everyone is avoiding WPvP cuz even without honor system PvP is the most important part of the game to me.
by playing smart and being aware of your surroundings, i fucking loooove pvp to break up the grind. it keeps you alert and its just fun man

Isn't it technically only ganking if you kill gray lowlevel players or group up many players against few?
In other words winning an uneven fight by merit of your character level instead of your playing skills?
I normally just add such players to the ignore list, go do some housework, and track them down when I reach maxlevel to kill them a few times or twenty.
Ganking is interrupting anything a player is doing. Some of these weren't ganks like the warrior attacking the mage from the mount, an actual honorable fight, but ya still fun to watch.

lol if you're a warrior and a mage is clearly zoning an area like that you either iniate yourself to give yourself a fighting chance or risk the mage opening on you which is a hell of a lot harder of a fight to play out. Ill admit the mage didnt exactly gank him but considering we don't know the full context of the fight we dont know that the mage wasn't waiting for him there to streamsnipe/it was a clean 1v1 from full hp at the very least.
@@jesusantispray im the mage. I was farming elites for eye drop and had no cds and 2k hp in pve gear , so yeah. Also, i came back 5 min later and killed him and he even popped a free action potion. He deleted the vod few days later sadly

How come when I fight mages, they constantly freeze/slow me and blink away, then proceed to kill me before I can even get close, yet in these videos, the melees can stay right on them?

More than a little pathetic to ridicule someone asking how to improve. My suspicion is that there is no meaningful advice you could actually give because you yourself still haven't managed to "get gud" and prefer to mock people rather than work on improving yourself to feel better.
At 4:06, the warrior honestly got lucky with three crits in a row. Mages don't have very much health, and if he had not killed the mage then, he could have died. I'm not sure why the mage didn't blink away, however. In the Esfand video, paladins have quite a few abilities that counter movement prevention.
Intercept and hamstring is all warriors have to work with atm. They won't be as hard once pvp trinkets come out with the honor system. Also, you'll have more rage for more intercepts once you get a better weapon and some hit rating.
the warrior got real lucky in that clip with 3 crits/the hamstring proc to snare off their talents. I was really a everything went right for the warrior clip so its satisfying in a way tho definitely don't be expecting that to happen everytime vs a mage lol, specifically if you don't get the opening move on them...

My mate and I (level 28 and 31) were out in the Barrens to do a mage quest when a douchy ?? skull warrior got off his mount to kill us. The following 60 seconds or so resulted in a warrior underestimating us. We finished on full health. He did not. His name is Dreameaterr on Aragul
