one chore my mom had me do as a child was to go around the house & 'dust' off the leaves of the houseplants.. she would remind me to talk to them as well. i didn't realize at the the time that this was building a kinship w/ plant life and nature as well..
i just caught a tree i was visiting 'waving' at me as i talked and introduced myself the other day. Also the two 80' tall redwoods in my backyard have assumed the role of mentors in my life..this summer was brutal and the heat began to take a toll on both which caused me great concern...i immediately recognized a need to triage both and restore the health of both individuals.
after several weeks of both encouragement and nutritional restoration, their overall condition improved and a balance was achieved that continues today. i received a thanks of sorts when a bird landed upon my shaved head only to dance a jig while i stretched out on a loungechair nxt to the trees. i laughed so hard and felt the joy which was being communicated to me.

Somehow I do this from my childhood. I talk to trees! I treat it like friend. Build connections. The very first one is neem tree in pompuhar, TN. Where my dad used to work as maths lecturer. That rented home has neem tree in front of home. As a 7-8 years old kid. I talk with him, even I share what I feel with him. I remember when my mom gives milk to drink in evening, I drink half or more than half and give remaining to him. We moved from there when I’m at 10 or 11 and moved to chennai, TN. Still here we have mango tree. Not built same level of connection with neem but it was something special. Talking to tree is like just expressing ourselves to nature. It ll resonate and respond for sure. 🎉

Certain trees can be abodes of various entities like Yakshinis, Vetalas, Naginis etc. Yakshini sadhanas are done under certain trees.

Currently working in Syntropic agriculture/agroforestry which requieres me to prune a lot of trees.. any advice to how to live in harmony and resonance with trees despite heavily pruning and sometimes chopping some down.. I know the practices and principals are for the overall benefit of the plots and environment at large, but sometimes I feel a conflict there.. thank you 🙏

Some trees not far from me have been tagged to be cut down. One is very mature. It saddens me that they were planted in a not great place to begin with, directly over a gas line which now has to be dug up. I will go and commune with this tree before the deed is done.

Mr Robert, when you say to align the prana, could you please give some more detail? Do you mean to put the attention to the breath while being near the plant you want to communicate with?

Thank you Sir. It seems one need honest ‘Para’ voice to connect to plants.

Guruji, the follow comment is coming from reverence, just my thoughts:
That’s probably because you are not born in a climate which usually supports evergreen trees.
