Thanks guys for posting a great video . I restored an MG VA tourer and have many spares including a chassis and all running gear. This video gives me inspiration to create a similar period special . I hope you get great enjoyment from your wonderful time travelling machine . Cheers from New Zealand.

I know exactly what you're saying ,I built a 50s hwm style car and it gets all you're senses when you drive it absolutely thrilling

Hi Guys what a fantastic job you have done with this car and what a great video of the work that has gone into it. Love the car and the video. I hope to see you next month on your trip to Angouleme (Hopefully in the bar not on the side of the road) as I am travelling with CGT as the mechanical backup chap! If you think of anything which I can carry to help you out on the tour and specific to your car just let me know in advance as I do have quite a big van (I’m happy to carry most things but maybe not the complete engine or gearbox 😊) Have a great trip. Steve

Nice work! Great story. It reminds me of many of the steps I went though to build my '38 MG Supercharged Special. I cord-bound my steering wheel and leaf springs the same way, watching television and wrapping knots! The wordwide scavenger hunt for parts, and the long evenings in the shop pay off because these cars just feel so great to drive on public roads. Just like you said, the public just seems enamored with them and they will draw a bigger crowd than most cars worth 10-20 times the amount.
