Grotte di Castellana: prohibition of taking photos policy is revealed only AFTER you paid the ticket. Hiding the prohibition to take photos in the cave, until you have paid. Yelling at people that they can't take photos AFTER that they paid is sleezy, dishonest and rude.

Hi, Fabrizio. Oh, they really did the 'dirty' on all the visitors expecting to take photos/shoot some video footage of the caves. But Lady Luck was on your side and made up for the caves by offering up a beautiful gold crucifix, a gold ring and gold coin. You need to complete the set and find a gold chain and a gold watch. Wow, same issue I had 15 years ago. No photos in caves, but I really liked the experience. Your disappointment was rewarded with your golden finds.
It is not nice if the staff is rude, but the cave looks grate and if I have a chance to visit it, I would, despite not being able to take photos :)
