Use custom loadouts, you can put 2 2k lb bombs and 12 250 lb bombs on at the same time

There's a slot for custom loadouts all the way down on the selection screen for bomb loads, click on it and choose the ordenace, be mindful of the maximum carry capacity tho

I use the 1000 lb magnetic mines for CAS with the AM-1 instead, as they are very light weight for how much explosives they pack

This thing is so underrated, definitely better than the AD-2 in game. Having the somewhat unique ability to deploy full landing flaps and airbrakes at the same time is insane.

I flew a AM-1. Great aircraft. Suddenly the Navy took them out of service. No reason given. Then, on tot he Grumman F8f. Another great fast very agile aircraft. Didn't carry a big payload but again he Navy took them out of service. Finally into the seat of a Douglas AD-3 Sky Raider. Good aircraft but not as good to me as the Martin Mauler.

This and the AD-4 slap now that they added custom loadouts. You can take 2x1000lb and 2000lb, around 50 FFAR and 4 HVAR with the AD-4 in one loadout.
