Wonderful Shiur on this week's parsha. This is indeed the choice we have in life. To serve Hashem by living your life in happiness and wholeness as part of the community, as part of Am Yisrael, according to His Mitzvos and ratzon. Or, instead to treat everything in life as a burdon and curse, living with the feeling that you are alone in darkness, just surviving for those small fragments of physical pleasure you can grab here and there. Great message for Rosh Hashana as well. Yasher Koach.
I do not blame you for not wanting to discuss the curses. It is the most contrasting parsha of the abundance of the firstfruits and caring for the needy to rejecting Hashem's soverign rule and experiencing such a depressing scenario that i hope never to experience. It seems that abundance has brought more hardship than has opression and adversity. WOe to those who are at ease in Zion or anywhere else.
The bringing of Bikkurim must have been a beautiful ceremony. Being a Levite, I wouldn't be bringing anything myself, since I would not have any land. I would be on the side singing. (Sort of. I don't have a very good singing voice. 😉)
I feel the need to comment on these videos and yet I know I can't really converse on the videos subject... I wonder who person doing the camera is?... Good video....
I am thankful for your understanding, and ability to see clearly.
