That would be me I was one of them at saw the eclipse because I live in Missouri in a town that was in the path. It was pretty wild to see everything go dark and all the lights in the parking lot and businesses kick on for 30 seconds of course it felt cooler and of course I was waiting for something silly like a horror movie come out of it like The Day the Earth Stood Still kind of thing but it was soon over and I had to get back to work. Although I did feel funny starting in the morning where are I just could not wake up for nothing when I normally can and of course in the afternoon and I felt like a nap was needed and I was also told that some areas The Crickets came out but in the end it was cool and I believe the next time is going to happen in 2024

I'm from Newfoundland and the house I grew up in was extremely haunted. One of the main support boards of the SS Newfoundland was used as part of the support of my house when it was built. Extremely paranormal things would happen in that house. I only live down the road from that house now and I have to walk past it every day. I still get goosebumps and bad feelings every time I walk by it. I'm so glad you shared the story about the SS Newfoundland!

I used to make fun of people who believe in paranormal things like ghosts. Then I was painting an empty house in Madison Indiana one evening and I heard a baby crying , clearly and loudly. There were no people and certainly no babies in there. I wasn't necessarily scared but I was very confused. I even walked outside and looked in the ditch on the road side to make sure someone hadn't left a freaking baby out there . I made my brother come up and help me finish the job so I could get out of there quickly. It changed the way I felt about paranormal things. I don't really attribute paranormal activity to dead people or whatever but I have no doubt that things happen to people that defy explanation

Alright this is pretty cool...I had the same experience as the couple visiting Gettysburg did, down to the same hotel room that was once an old hospital. Like in the story, I too didn't know the history behind the house. We stayed on both levels, my family and I. My father swore he heard whistling at night, like the sound of artillery shells shooting overhead. While I can't confirm his claim, I can say on my behalf that I swore I saw a glimpse of white in the doorframe of my bedroom one night. When I was informed of the building's history, it baffled me. But it also explained a strange figure I caught in a polaroid shot of the house upon locking up and checking out. No one was in that house, but on the bottom level there was the faint outline of some figure peering out the window. I'm hunting for this old picture as we speak lol!
Great narration as always and thanks for the video!

Story 3: It was a Wendigo. I know it. They can imitate human's voices, which explains why the cousin's voice was heard when the grandpa went out to find the cousin. Also, Wendigo's are known to be very messy when they eat, which explains the shredded deer. And Wendigo's also can take shape of any animal, which explains the wolflike thing that Mark and the dad saw. (Sorry this is so late I'm just so sure)

The 15:35 story is actually cute. Waking up to coffee and bread smells every day? Ghost kids who like your grandkids so much they're sad when they leave? Ideal ghosts really. Story resonates with me as well because when I lived in Abbotsford, another city in the Fraser Valley near the OP, we had a similar experience with the previous owner of our house's wife who had passed away. She was clearly still there and confused, lights and appliances would turn on randomly and certain areas would suddenly give everyone a scary sensation as of she thought we were intruders and was hiding in there from us. Eventually my mom met a new neighbour who told us the old man who sold the house to us had moved in with their daughter in Victoria. My mom went home, stood at the front door and yelled up "Grace, your husband lives with your daughter now. You don't live here anymore, you should go find them." All the weird stuff stopped after that. She never really bothered us, we just felt bad that she might be terrified of us being in her house.

    • @HomeMain
      @HomeMain Рік тому

Would have been hilarious if she told your mom she didn't want to find the old fart and liked it there with you guys. My husband and I mess with each other about who we would haunt besides each other.

Back when i was a child, my grandma tacked us to bed by telling us stories, funny; fairy tales; sad; and my favorite, horror stories.. she told us folklores, and my favorite horror stories are, their real ghost/element encounters/experiences.. But she's long gone.. So i just wanna thank you, all of you youtubers that are telling us horror stories, you make my night just like those times my grandma was still alive.. my daughter never experienced or heard my grandma tell her stories, but i make sure she knows those stories by telling her what her greatgrandma used to tell us.. And eversince we found you, all of youtubers who are telling us horror stories, we make it a point to always listen to your stories and fell asleep listening to it.. so i just wanna say my thank you for your stories.. keep it up! We love you and all of your stories!

The story at around 27:08 there is a very easy explanation for that. I used to always hear “babies” crying at night too. It scared me a lot until I found out it was just stray cats. Cats make noises that sound like babies crying (like exactly like a newborn human baby would) I guess when they’re mating or something.

Fox can also sound a lot like babies crying, especially young foxes playing 🦊

I know this is late but fun fact about cats, they learnt to sound like babies crying specifically so that humans get instinctually triggered to take care of them over the generations. Cats are so manipulative haha

How do you chose which stories to read? Do you have to get permission from each writer before you use it? Do you use recently posted stories or go back in the archives. I am a big fan and i was just curious.

    • @sarahoshea9603

A lot of them he gets from Reddit and similar sites where it's voluntarily posted, that way he doesn't have to ask permission. Some I assume are submitted to him. A lot of them aren't that great, so I wish he was a bit more selective but if he's already making money I suppose he won't have the motivation to do so, shame cuz I like his voice.

Just recently I commented about knowing what an evil look looks like. Story 1 describes it perfectly. But what's REALLY creepy is watching the human mask slip right before your eyes. Those black eyes don't start out that way. They change from human to demon in the blink of an eye. Mid conversation just stops and darkness spreads like an impossibly fast cancer.

Dangit! I should've sent you something for you to read on here, let me just put this paranormal story I have experienced.
My mom and I were driving down a local road that we drive through all the time. On the road, there's an abandoned barn with a small pond with an old dock. This time when we were passing the barn, I saw a glimpse but a good look at what looked like a 5 year old girl in a white dress and blonde hair standing on the dock of the pond. She was staring back at me.
When I thought she was just a regular girl playing, I looked back at the road to see the same girl right in front of us. Her face was covered in blood, and when it looked like we were going to hit her, she vanished. I gasped when I saw her, and my mom asked what was wrong. I just replied with an unsure, scared tone: "I think I might've seen a ghost..." Obviously she didn't believe me because she didn't see the girl at all. It makes me wonder though how that poor spirit came to be a ghost in the first place. Maybe there was an accident in that barn long ago that killed her, maybe she was killed by some sick person, but... I really feel bad for her.

Tresnota u have to pray for her because she is a lost soul; everytime u see a ghost pray for their soul

Tresnota i have paranormal experiences too.
I was sleeping on my room and i woke up 11 am at noon but my room is dark because of my curtain . I turn my head look at the end of my feet. and i look on my feet at the end of my bed . I saw a black figure, male , he is sitting at the end of my bed , he even sits at my feet because i was sleeping on the right side of the bed. he is like a shadow figure but it seems like he is wearing a suit/tuxedo . He look at me and i look at him for good three seconds and then I noticed that his eyes were looking at me like i did something horrible. But the face i cant see that much because he is like a shadow. I even rolled my eyes and face the the wall and when i look back again at the end of my feet. He was gone
