I get what you are going for with this field, and it is a worthy concept. However, it is not necessary, nor desirable to remove the ego. This is a misunderstanding and purposeful misdirection for hundreds of years away from full, healthy human development. The rampant narcissism in the world is due to the deliberate infantilization of the populace by those also underdeveloped egoic souls who think they are in control via force and deceit. What is needed in this world are more people with egos that are mature and balanced. In brain terms, having an equal balance of left and right hemispheres and a well developed corpus callosum connecting them along with forward activation of the amygdalae and a fully developed prefrontal cortex. Add to that a well developed heart center and balanced gut/brain axis with healthy vagus nerve connecting all and true adult and societal evolution is possible.
Narcissism is the result of self hatred. It’s is the result of inner conflict. Of the war with oneself. We are each obsessed with ourselves because we are in a state of perpetual conflict. At war with the sides of ourselves. The ego, ID, and superego are the result of functional dissociation. Because no one can fit into these molds society places upon us. We must repress parts of ourselves. That coupled with almost universal trauma, has fractured the human personality beyond recognition. I think to more closely study personality one would have to study an indigenous population. The ego can not be forsaken this is true. It’s more of an integration. No. I’m saying that 1-2 is good. It’s enough. The fields are designed to work beyond listening time.1-2 is enough but if you want faster, extra strength etc by all means. Not everyone has time to listen more and I wanted people to feel confident after one or two listens because that truly is enough.
