Great video. I've been trying to decide between the two. If surecart had local pickup and/or delivery zones by zip code it would win for me hands down.
Thankyou! I hear you. Individual needs and how they are fulfilled will always be important. So, whichever floats your boat the best is what you need :)
If you make more videos about surecart customization and actual use, it will definitely help the video traffic, after all, there are few people who explain this track in detail at present~ The disadvantages of Woocommerce are actually very obvious, if it is a non-professional, it is difficult to configure a high-performance e-commerce system, so surecart has great potential~ I am a deep wordpress user, From vps, the deployment of professional web architecture to the detached database can reduce the Woocommerce background table query to make the website performance better and the user experience better~ So surecart is undoubtedly a bigger market.
Indeed. But I think SureCart will go down the route of Shopify and will be its own thing. It is already doing good within WordPress by meticulously giving users what they feel the lack of in WooCommerce. But the biggest thing for majority of WordPress users is its dependency on SureCart servers. If I am on WordPress, I probably want things centralized. Also, great physique brother!
Surecart definitely appears to be for small ecommerce sites that are less concerned with customer experience and more focused on the business owner’s user experience.
@@AntonioDiaz-x7q Hmm in that case, I assume the users will already be registered to the site, so they won't need migration. As for their orders, I am unsure if there is such feature within surecart to import orders.
What do you recommend for a dropshipping niche site with 200-300 products? I was going to go with Surecart but it's for small stores apparently and I don't know if 200-300 products is a small or large store? Thanks
That is a large store I suppose. But what makes it a "Large" store is not just the number of product but also the traffic you get into your site. Since you want to go with SureCart, a good part of processing will fall into their side as well. I would say you reach out to the SureCart support and explain your situation, they should be able to give you a good idea of how capable their servers are. Besides that, since you will have a lot of products, make sure to invest in a good, dedicated hosting. Your hosting could bottleneck SureCart server's performance so keep that in mind too.
Enjoyed the video and subscribed, but imo you don't need the background music and some viewers might find it distracting....but thanks for the content!
@@TheTechGrill Hello. If you are ever into it, I think a good and needed video is about the WP structure, when do I assume I need a page, or an archive template, or a post, or a category? The logic of what to choose and when and why to choose is lacking in the community, I have looked and haven't found many good explanations, Thanks for the content...These topics have been confusing, Do I need a template and when?
Thank you! Congrats on the magnificent research!
Thanks for that great comparison!

Great. How can I grandfather existing members in surecart?
Not quite sure what you mean by grandfather existing members. Typo I suppose?
@@TheTechGrillI believe they meant how they can migrate current subscription customers or just plain customers.
