@@artbyphobia I honestly don't think he even knows of the Mimic. I feel like they're trying to set up the Mimic as the new big antagonist, yet Afton completely overshadows it since he's been here since the start.
*The Book:* A Rabbit Endo. Brought into the abandoned FFPS pizzeria. The endo merges with a woman's corpse. There's a giant pyramid of dismantled robotic parts, resembling a huge blob. The Pizzeria gets sealed and buried under the Pizzaplex.
*The Theorists:* Yep, looks like a metaphor to me.

I actually think there is another theory to how Burntrap became Burntrap. In one of the Tales of the PizzaPlex books, Nixie. At the ending of the book, spoilers for those who never read it. The doll got the Storyteller to make an endoskeleton which the doll fused their owner's flesh with the endoskeleton making them "beautiful". This may tell us how Burntrap was made. Not that the girl turned into Burntrap but an insight on how Burntrap was made in a similar way. Flesh and metal fused together.
I thought he was called burn trap because after the pizzeria simulator he was burned in the fire at the end. Cassidy kept him alive in order to torture him and when he was finally rediscovered by the people who opened the pizza plex. He was kept in that charging station as a way of keeping in shape and keeping him from disfiguring even more
Yeah, the name literally being burntrap is a dead giveaway in my opinion. Plus, Mimic doesn't even have the powers of Burntrap.

The books are canon, but not in the way you expect it. Scott literally said that there are two timelines which are both technically canon but not to each other.

Unless there are 2 mimics in the games (sb and ruin) with different endoskeletons, the mimic can't be burntrap. Sure, burntrap has the mimic's hand. But the rest of burntrap's endoskeleton resembles more of the help wanted beta spring bonnie endo than the mimic.

My theory was the minic mimicked someone build a endo for sb animatronics but then I went wrong and vanny showed up and put afton remains in the suit and put scraps of the spring lock suit and basicly rebuild afton
And now Ruin is making us question everything in it's final chapter

I lik the idea in theory but in practice theres just so many holes. The fact burntrap was melted onto the springbonnie endo is one, how can it be the mimic if the endo is already there? Dont you think we'd see the doubling of endos if that was the case?

You also have to include the fact that the game literally implies Vannesa built Burntrap by having her face in the same room we see Burntrap.

When Vanessa got possessed hypnotized by glitchtrap /William to build William a new body she use some of decommission Glam Rock Bonnie animatronic and then found some of scraptrap William Afton possess body part to make burn trap because security Beach is built over FNAF 6 also this is just a theory also the mimic is a theory to 🙃

It makes sense because the ending for ruin is the "good" ending/the save vanny ending so then burntrap was just recreated either when gregory went down or just before that meaning that that never happend and the mimic would be down there because of that
A theory i see going around is that springtrap, or scraptrap is still in fnaf ucn and never escaped, burntrap is actually glitchtrap that caused vanessa to make him a suit, basically burntrap is the ai springtrap from help wanted trying to replicate springtrap, so perhaps the mimic is what's left of scraptrap after sb replicating voices its already heard with ai, the first half of this makes sense because if the fnaf sb playtester or player was vanessa, we see multiple endings where glitchtrap is able to possess the player, just like vanessa and so when the suit is made it leaves her
No the mimic just the mimic what really happened was springtrap was able to escape like he has done before many times his endo was Repaired by vanny
I think that Vanny took an old endoskeleton from Fredbear's Family Diner and programmed it to enter in stuffed animals suits/costumes (that's why he does this in scooper ending) and installed it in the Pizzaplex's system to be the source of Glichtrap.
Then, the mimic entered Scraptrap, originating Burntrap.
If burntrap has williams corpse why does it have teeth and an movable jawline
(On the fnaf 3 rare screens we can see that he cant move his jaw (idk why but his skull and jaw merged or something) and that he only has 2 teeth (or 3) left.
The afton character design is very inconsistent either way, like we know scraptrap is william and his face is very different from springtrap's, like his mummified ears
Afton’s corpse was already combined with the spring lock endo. Vanny would have to have reset the spring locks in Afton’s suit.

I'd believe it but if Kelly died in a dog-suit, we need to know where the Spring Bonnie suit came from. Is it the roleplay suit or was the original spring bonnie suit somehow salvageble in the old location?

I don't think that's aftons corps, remember the glich trap virus got the one guy before it took over vanny and that guy did take his face off their for his corps would be fresh and ready to use, scrap traps costume was likely destroyed but the old spring bonny suit was not. So afton most likely went back and found the older sping suit and then put a new corps in it upgraded then moved in

If Afton lets his body get taken over by the mimic that would just be pathetic. It’s too late to make him go out with a bang in FNAF 6 because he’s already back as burntrap but having him go out with a wimper with his body being stolen my the mimic is pathetic. I really hope this theory is false it makes sense but I hate the narrative implications of this mimic thing, a compelling story with a few plot holes is better than an unsatisfying story with less plot holes.

The Mimic literally shived itself into someones corpse and will probably find an old Bonnie costume in Tales 8. Its not Afton and people are so desperately wanting it to be despite 6 and UCN. The Mimic isnt Afton and neither is Burntrap

You do realize burn trap is more parts of spring trap then scratch up. Also scrap trap and spring trap are two separate characters because in ultimate custom night one of them is called Afton in the other one most likely Dave Miller

hmm no, williams corpse is at the bottom of a lake after exploding and became a giant trash rabbit. Mimic just killed some rando and put on williams old springbonnie suit (shoulder bar, mask, torso) and used that lol. It is not the scraptrap suit cus design. William is gone forever now, (since the vengeful spirit andrew is no longer keeping him alive) and our new villain is the mimic copying william. Enjoy friends

Well finally i finally known why burntrap how he grew an arm
and the blob is another mimic absorbing burntrap
We got there through the fire in pizzeria simulator tho . That's why he doesn't have the rest of the costume in my opinion .
Or the Mimic is burntrap because when the blob took him maybe he was skind off like to the bunny suit was ripped off and so in the ruin u can see the mimic and they have the same endo skeleton but there's other theories of the nightmares in the security breach.

This makes more sense given the fact we find Glamrock bonnie in bad shape but not dismantled as people thought maybe vanny took parts to make Burntrap. But really looking at Glamrock Bonnies body it is confirmed that Monty attacked him but I think it was for the reason of trying to eliminate competition
We know Monty wants to be center stage instead of Freddy (as seen with him in lead and freddy in the trash in monty golf) Problem is bonnie was more popular than monty so if something did happen to Freddy Bonnie would probably take the lead role in his place. So by taking out bonnie monty would be able to more easily slide into the role
No I think that vanny just took the old decaying corpse that remained from the fnaf 6 fire and just fixed him a bit and put glichtrap in him so he could come back to life
With the RUIN DLC now released, it is now confirmed that Burntrap was never real because the ending was not canon and it was the Princess Quest 3 ending.

The real truth: when fbaf 6 building came to and end roasting and git on fire scrap trap was supposed to come back as the same but more dusty krusty rusty and musty but he fused to the computer that survived the burn the computer mike was using to buy things and make it to the end and came back as glitch trap but then when the building aka pizza plex was built untop of it the hired a security guard vannesa when she was hired she went downstairs to the burnt pizzeria and say glitch trap was there and then a button saying click me appears which vannesa didn’t see at first at the computer then when she pressed it glitch trap started denigrating and pieces of scrap trap was printing with Williams soul the vannesa grabbed the scrap trap pieces and put them in the animatronic charging station and then that’s when scraptrap became burn trap *it’s still called burn trap because the pieces won’t fix or put together and that’s why burn trap still has the scratches and holes*

Nah the mimic a a totally different endoskeleton with three blunt fingers and a thumb, it’s not even a pizzaplex endo, with the older modeled endo mouths no ear attachments and a flat face.

So William Afton went to the spring Bonnie suit he got spring locked then few years later the pizzarea that he was in got burnt then we see springtrap at FNAF 3. And Spring bonnie is Springtrap then someone took him to FNAF 6 And he was named Scraptrap then at the end of FNAF 6 there was fire and the fire burned Scraptrap and then burnttrap came to security breach because it got built and stayed there until, another fire and the blob killed him and that’s how burnttrap is made. And btw This is why Burnttrap wasn’t there at FNAF Security Breach he died. Idk how he got the name but burnttrap made Freddy’s mind weird because Freddy remember William Afton because Freddy is Micheal Afton
But isn’t that the same character that was in the basement in the DLC? Sorry for the spoiler. But if you’re saying this is a mimic, I think this might actually be the character in the basement that was trapped there for a long time. At least that’s what Gregory says. So was he Afton/burn trap? But then when we burn him he goes out of the suit and he’s actually just chilling there. Waiting to get freed by us because Gregory ain’t down there. Also RIP Cassie.
Why are people saying that the pizzaplex books are the same canon as the games? The fazbear frights books contained parallels but weren't the same canon as the games, wouldn't the pizzaplex books be the same in that regard? Like there's no tiger head creating lore or whatever the hell in the games, so clearly it's not the same canon.

1) the books and comics in general are not canon, or else you have to accept things like middle aged men giving birth to tiny springtraps
2) burntrap is also not canon, since that whole secret ending to Fnaf SB is NOT the ending that leads to Fnaf Ruin that came later.
