Okay- I have been listening to covers of this song for hours, serious. To get ideas for a story. But this is what I have from yours. A man, who is a farmer, and also the father of the poet. Right now he is singing this peaceful song to the rest of his family, while his son is on adventures with the Solider and King. But it has kind of a sad ring to it, reason? Because the Poet has yet to return from his adventures. The father is still hopeful that the poet had kept his promise on returning home, but every time he sings this song, the more sad it gets. It comes with a darker and more slower feeling the more it gets played and the more it gets heard. But, the father still has some hope that his son will someday return, with his same quirky smile on his face. So he continued to sing this song to family and friends over the years, hoping that his son would someday return back home to his family
jacob honestly thank you so much for making this cover, ik it sounds really stupid but it has helped me through some of the toughest times in my childhood. at age 12 i already suffer with anxiety,adhd, deppresion and severe bdd. whenever i feel sad i always come back to this song knowing my frown will turn into a smile within seconds. growing up in an abuse household for the first 6 months of my life was rlly stressful. life still is horrendous going from social worker to social worker because my mother isnt capeable of looking after me because she is mentally abuseive. thank you again. ❤

Okay- I have been listening to covers of this song for hours, serious. To get ideas for a story. But this is what I have from yours. A man, who is a farmer, and also the father of the poet. Right now he is singing this peaceful song to the rest of his family, while his son is on adventures with the Solider and King. But it has kind of a sad ring to it, reason? Because the Poet has yet to return from his adventures. The father is still hopeful that the poet had kept his promise on returning home, but every time he sings this song, the more sad it gets. It comes with a darker and more slower feeling the more it gets played and the more it gets heard. But, the father still has some hope that his son will someday return, with his same quirky smile on his face. So he continued to sing this song to family and friends over the years, hoping that his son would someday return back home to his family

jacob honestly thank you so much for making this cover, ik it sounds really stupid but it has helped me through some of the toughest times in my childhood. at age 12 i already suffer with anxiety,adhd, deppresion and severe bdd. whenever i feel sad i always come back to this song knowing my frown will turn into a smile within seconds. growing up in an abuse household for the first 6 months of my life was rlly stressful. life still is horrendous going from social worker to social worker because my mother isnt capeable of looking after me because she is mentally abuseive. thank you again. ❤
