    Like seeing the big bear 400 content. Have a 03 myself. That has been well used and abused. Needs to be gone back through. Runs great. But previous owner destroyed the rear brakes. Was replacing the rear shock and the whole rear axle loose like the bearings are gone.

    Nice, you got another Yamaha Timberwolf 250 which’s in mint condition, unlike the other Yamaha Timberwolf 250 that your brother brought to you in the previous video to swap engines into your 225dx!!

      Yeah this one was mint. I didn’t have it for too long though, now got that project warrior.

    I love the wheeling and dealing too. I've had several Yamaha utility machines and while they're good they are slow! I had a super clean
    Ittle 97 timber wolf pretty much just like yours

      The little Timberwolf’s are pretty slow, but they are very reliable little wheelers.

      Yeah I had a 350 big bear that was really slow. I actually believe the bear trackers and Timberwolves would outrun it. But they are good machines

    Is that new Yamaha Timberwolf 250 a 1992 like the other one that you removed it’s engine from??

    Why did the caliper grind down like that. I’m working on an Arctic cat and it did the same thing but I wasn’t sure why

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports 11 місяців тому

      If your talking about the Yamaha big bear caliper, it was because they ran it with a very bad wheel bearing for quite a while.

    Looking for a rare part for a yamaha bw350 would you happen to have an intake boot laying around the bw350 is a rare motor it's usually a 200 and I hate to swap it out for something else I can't seem to find an intake boot that will fit

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports 11 місяців тому +1

      That is a pretty rare machine. I’ve always wanted to try one of those BW350’s out. There is someone on eBay selling a conversion kit for that flange. www.ebay.com/itm/391757587608?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=_g417pV0S8S&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=DqRyhHdHRm-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

    Rock I need some help man, I’ve got a Polaris xplorer 300 that I had bored 1mm over and it won’t idle. However, if I stay on the gas it rides fine up until about 1/2 throttle then Boggs horribly like it’s completely running out of fuel. But I can catch it back up by barely hitting the throttle. Carb is clean. Needle clip is on the middle slot. Do I need bigger main jet or??

      Have you replaced your crank seals? If your sucking air into the bottom end it will cause running issues. I’ve seen a lot of older 2 strokes that don’t run right because of leaky crank seals.
