Nice to see happy people in love sharing good food and loving it. Keep up the good work! Must be a stressful job eating good food for a living. Enjoy your time with love.
For a super fancy restaurant they have some weird things - french like dressing for a Caesar salad, no fresh cracked pepper, mashed potatoes with gravy, cream corn? That's like home made food in a fancy restaurant.
Back in the day they would ask if you wanted fresh cracked pepper and would top your salad with as much or as little as you wanted. Otherwise the restaurant seems mostly the same as 50 years ago.
I think this tells me that this place pales in standards for an East coast streak place. Seriously creamed corn? I can pay $.50 for that in a can from the grocery store. And steak from a cart? This just tells me never go to a meat restaurant on the west coast. Rip off.
@@jjhlk6737 I think this tells me that some people who eat in eastern steakhouses aren’t very open minded. Why would u knock a place or an experience you haven’t even tried? At least you are watching these vlogs
I guess your paying for the ambience at $65 per person. How does Lawry's stand up against a steak house in Vegas? It did look super good though!! Thanks for a great weekend!
As in most fancy pants restaurants, you're paying for the ambiance and quality. Not an everyday eating place for us common folks, but great for that special occasion. Truth be told, we both agreed that if given a choice between Andiamo's steak house in the D, Las Vegas, and Lawry's, Andiamo's takes the W. It's that zip sauce that takes it to the next level!
Try the Lawry's in Vegas on your next trip. It's my fave! I work for the airlines too and used to fly to Vegas twice a week, but can't anymore cause no flights. Miss Vegas :(
I ate at Lawry's in Vegas and was very disappointed. Your food looks way better than what I had. Perhaps an off night. Both of your prime ribs were perfectly cooked. I am not a fan of all the jus on the plate - prefer it on the side - and I must have horseradish cream sauce with it, but you two had a nice meal. Always a little slice of Heaven watching your vids!
A must stop every time I'm in Vegas....usually get the California cut.....slightly smaller....and yeah...Yorkshire pudding is a must with gravy and au jus!!! Here's a little secret....go for lunch...no reservations and its cheaper. Also, apply for the VIP rewards card as well:)

It is" LAWries" not "LOWries: I truly appreciate this. Thanks so much for your vlogs that I truly enjoy. Thanks ever so much, David.
Thanks for virtual tour of Lawry's, always wanted to go there...your pleasant personality's and chat and appetizing pics of the food make it feel like actually being there with friends.
@@billandlisaYes, House of Prime Rib in SF has been there such a long time! The best, I used to go there as a teen & now I'm 83 years old, & can still taste that great Prime Rib of theirs
I'm surprised you two didn't review the Las Vegas location on Flamingo, but the BH one on La Cienega is the OG original. No review of the CC Brown's Hot fudge sundae?! 😱
I love lawrys! Going to the Beverly hills location for the first time when i fly down to los angeles in may because I only have been to the Las Vegas location so far!
There's a restaurant here called House of Prime Rib and the service and menu look identical. Glad that these old school spots are still doing well. I guess were doing well.
my wife and I both love to cook. whenever using Lawry's salt we both love to sprinkle a bit on the palm of our hand and give it a lick. very unique flavor. we call it chef's cocaine although we will keep it on our tongue and out of our nose. Excellent seasoning!
Great episode you guys! I was at Lawry’s in Vegas last December after years and it was truly an experience! I had the similar dish as Lisa’s and the only other place that can equal or top it was The Chicago Chop House in downtown Chicago. Cheers!
Bill & Lisa's food and travel vlog Yes you will not be disappointed.. they take a nice perfect slab cut of high quality prime rib and sear it like a steak and will melt in your mouth! A bit pricey but well worth it!
If you are ever in San Francisco there’s a House of Prime Rib that offers an identical experience but has also been around for over 50 years atleast. I’m just glad to know there’s more than one of these great experiences in California
Hey guys got a local prime rib tip for you. Have you ever been to Chris N Pitts? They one I go to is in Bellflower and they make a fantastic prime rib. I would definitely go with their largest cut. I would assume right now they are only doing take out. Cheers...
Beverly Hills has the best. Tried the one in Shanghai (closed after a couple of years) and the one in Tokyo. Neither were as good. Can't wait to go back to the Beverly Hills location. It's gotta have been over 30 years I think.
Lelli’s in Auburn Hills/Pontiac, MI offers the same style service. Except instead of prime rib, they specialize in chateaubriand. The table pull is just classy.
You two are so happy together! I love it!
Thanks GV!
If you go to SF, check out House of Prime Rib on Van Ness Ave

Not stressful, we try and keep things fun. Thanks Dale. =)

Maybe it's that home made feel in a fancy setting thats the draw? Whatever it is, it's been working for them for over 80 years.

I would love to eat here one day!! Looks so good.
Lawry"s One of a kind with the Carts full of meat & the cream corn oh boy!!! ENJOY!! Love Lawry's
Agreed, the prime rib is pretty amazing.
We have a Lawrys in Chicago, very very overpriced.
Good lord that was a beautiful cut of beef wow !! You two are fabulous together
Thanks Joe!
You two are the cutest
These guys are too 😎
Wow that looks sooooo delicious , I saw one in Vegas I wonder if it’s going to be the same consistency as the BH 𝐎𝐧𝐞 .
We would expect it to be. If you go, let us know!

Been to the Vegas one, just as good as the Beverly Hills location. We shot a vlog on our visit there. We’re lucky Vegas is a short drive away.
I really hope they don’t go out of business during the pandemic. Would love to visit again as I have not been here in years.
On our bucket list for sure. Looks like a great meal.
Oh my gosh! I love Yorkshire pudding.
Made from beef fat .

Awesome place Awesome video !!!!
Thanks Kevin!
Love it! But it’s not the only California Prime Rib House... House of Prime Rib is in San Francisco :) but Lawry’s beats it hands down ♥️
I feel like that dining room is too brightly lit. Bring in a lighting designer Lawry's!
Food and service looked great. May have to try it
Worth trying at least once!
I really like that place. great video.
Thanks Michael!

Yummy

Before seeing the price? Might be around $255.90 for two not including the gratuities

Every time i order prime rib its 80% fat. Stopped ordering it, i prefer the Ribeye now
$128.00 really ?? That’s awesome price … wow

Another great vid! Here in San Francisco, our version of Lawry’s is called House of Prime Rib. In fact, both restaurant looked identical.
Thanks Tony! We're looking forward to try the House of Prime Rib on our next overnighter in SF. Curious how they stack up to Lawry's.

'The Lawry Cut'. Just happened to have a bone. lol

Lawry's first restaurant with prime rib is still open. Tam o' Shanter in Atwater.

Maybe just an Italian dressing Salad and that's it for you two...
Really does not look that appealing... way too much watery and saucy
It's so tender cause its not cooked, yuck .............
So when it's prepared well done, its tough? Hmm... LOL Thanks for watching, Toni!
Not true for being the only prime rib house in California.
There is the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco which has been around longer than Lawrys.

This looks great. I ate at Lawry's in Vegas and was not impressed.
you guys are so fun to watch..... fun, fun, fun..............
Never seen Au Jus glistening as it does at Lowry's over the prime rib.
Never go to steak houses but will now
It was pretty tasty for sure!
That place is not worth it
.. way better places on the strip
Greatest couple reviewing a restaurant video ever
Its not pronounced Lorries pronounced Lao rys.
I've been wanting to try this place in vegas... looks so good! Maybe I will take the hubby for fathers day we will be in Vegas that weekend!
Do it Anna! One of the best prime ribs we've ever had! Better make reservations though!
