Question, so when I turn my battery off on my Perko Switch this deletes or “unpairs” my remotes from my Talon unit? Do I need to keep my Talon connected to a live battery at all times to keep it from resetting? I’ve been having issues with my remotes staying paired with the unit after I cut the power to my batteries.

Turning you main power off will not unpair talons and remotes. I have my power from talon connected to the main breaker and the ground to my cranki g battery with no issues.

Do you have to setup the remote before it will pair with the talon after clearing the memory of it? I cleared mine and can not get them to pair back up

Michael,
You do not have to setup the remote once you clear the memory. On the Remote hold the UP and DOWN button at the same time until the lights start scrolling. Once the lights on the remote are scrolling go to the Talon and hold the UP and DOWN button at the same time until the lights scroll. Then listen for 3 quick beeps which indicates the remote paired to the Talon.
