This was a wild one and going back through the mid 90's it seems that the Steelers always had Jim Kelly's number. This one is going way back, before I was even born, before the Nintendo 64, Tupac was alive and the Ravens weren't even around for an entire year.
This ended up being much, much longer than I had anticipated but that isn't always a bad thing. I thought it would be fun to relive this matchup nearly 30 years later. Thank you for watching and there is always more content on the way :)

Huge performances from Bam Morris, Carnell Lake & the duo of Mill/Thigpen. This was an overall well rounded defensive beating by the Steelers

This Steelers Roster is so stacked! The WRs are 5 deep Mills, Hastings, Thihpen, Johnson, and Slash. Add Bruener and Bam Pounding the Rock!!! So Good. The Defensivr Side was unbelievable. Kirkland, Lloyd, Greene doing things men that size shouldn't be able to do. Wow!! Thanks !!!
Wish we could have gotten a few more years out of Barry Foster too.

That was a different time with a different coach . Cowhers first year he lost to the bills in the divisional 24-3 . He grew up along with the team and they were the class of the AFC by 95’.
We were actually the #1 seed after Cowher's first season - just weren't there yet.

After watching that game as a adult and seeing how quick Neil left for the Jets, I’m convinced that he was paid off to throw that game. Both of those INTS were nowhere near a receiver

I was a teenager when that took place. I still to this day will always remember how Neil O'donnell ruined that memory for me. That team was built to win that championship.

Collinsworth had to be older than 30. His NFL rookie season was 1981.
Carnell Lake was the man! I remember he came to my high school (Ambridge) to give a speech before one of our Friday night football games and I got to shake his hand. It was awesome!!!

I loved watching Kordell back in the 90's. He was amazing...sometimes not lol but overall loved him.

This was such a great game. Carnell Lake was a monster. NOD had one of his finest games, the line worked and the pressure on Kelly was wonderful.

I was at this game. The Bills almost came back. I remember Jim Kelly fighting.
What a ferocious defense we had back then. Definitely Super Bowl caliber. But it’s too bad we didn’t have a QB as good as Jim Kelly. I believe the Steelers would have won their 5th and 6th back in the 90s.

I hope for a good game throughout by both teams. I won’t be shocked if Pittsburgh loses, but in the end I’m happy they were able to make it where they are.
I was there I was 13 yrs old!! Three rivers stadium is Pittsburgh! The block numbers are Pittsburgh ! Ashame they don’t close in Heinz field alittle more are fans deserve to have a the loudest stadium in the NFL

Bam came to my high school when I was a kid to play the teaching staff at basketball. Every year a few random Steelers would show up for a short game then sign autographs. It was a very cool experience being that i come from a very tiny school in western pa. The neighboring home town of Jim Kelly ironically enough

Bam Morris was the Lev Bell of the 90's. Immensely talented and could've been one of the all time greats. But loved the doobie.

Been saying this for years with Mason and guy they called Duck and probably would be way to play Pickett and should of been with Mitch, have qb under center with 2 running backs, at least should be their main offensive scheme and once in awhile out of shot gun. NFL is different today it's fixed and scripted and no I was a kid but I remember the Steelers of the 90s and bill cowher , cowher and Tomlin are far more alike coaching wise than what people understand both preach defense and getting after the ball very heavily aggressive defensive minded guys . Steelers coaches are that way y'all believe in a hard defense if cowher had a real QB yeah man he'd won more Superbowls and if tomlin had better luck with the injuries y'all have had during his tenure he'd have more.

The only close SB of the 4 for the Bills was the first. They had ZERO shot the next three. Especially against the Skins and the Boyz the first time, the Bills were completely outmatched everywhere to the player, coach, and playbook. Hec Mark Rypien in 1991 looked like a HOF!
