- 52 blocks. 3 blocks technique transitioning into hand strikes. This isn’t sport fighting, no points and no referees. My tutorials are for self defense in real life scenarios. I’m looking to neutralize any threat. Use for self defense in practical situations.

Slamming the forearms together also helps with conditioning the bones over time, which is necessary in martial arts.
A lot of blocks are in equal parts strikes, once your limbs are dense.
At 58 years old and reflecting upon my life as more an aficionado than martial artist, I really wish I would had have stumbled upon this concise, common sense approach system sooner because of my k.i.s.s. approach towards life now. Better late than never, probably. Thank you for the lesson.
Peace, no limiting factors. The opportunity is still present to solidify an effective grasp of 52. Definitely concise and k.i.s.s. The movements are fluid and feel right. Forge ahead! Peace
Watching this style reminds me so much of my natural fighting style. But this is helping me expand more.
Peace, that’s my only endeavor. to make it natural and practical. real world application.
@@infinite7fit741 fair enough bro.If we cut out the "flash" and stick to raw basics it's a winner
You have to be composed to utilize this in a fight where the other person is willing to square up fair and square to use it. Most of the time its a spontaneous sucker punch that sets things off so this stuff is irrelevant because there is not enough time to process the blocks right away ... also people fail to realize if you fight someone thats strong and has tuff hands your fore arms and hands are gonna hurt like crazy trying to deflect ... i only see this practical in the first fight sequence that i explained and getting jumped by multiple people otherwise you better be practicing like crazy when it goes down. Good video
Peace, prudent and critical analysis. Excellent assessment. I concur on a few points you highlighted; a sucker punch will typically illicit a flurry of you keep your wits also this combo (or similar) would be advantageous against multiple combatants. Just to note I do these combos for different reasons: it condition my body and mind to automate combos without thought and to work stability and striking to name a few. I’ve said on many occasions you can break these combos into pieces to what “best” fits the scenario. These are templates and to be used with discernment. You’re a scholar and a gentleman. Appreciate the feedback. Peace
@infinite7fit741 Great concept and Repsponce !.. All I can say is what the Great Bruce Lee once said ... "Be water my Friend " . Respect and Blessings 🙏
Peace & Blessings! Thank You for keeping the Culture alive! Our fighting systems are as distinct as our music!

Foghting systems? Lmao. Nonsense is what this is.

Don't forget that some of the 'strange' gards (palm around the cheeks) that this is also a way to protect from knives, wich are dangerous on the arms, but lethal on the throat...
peace, excellent observation. your right and exact. thank you for the support!
This is beauty at its best. Salute my brother.

A lot of folks talk a lot of trash about 52 blocks. I think it's a simple and effective system. Thank you sir, for the video upload.
Peace King, apologies for the delayed response. I appreciate your feedback. Yes indeed, 52 is simple and practical. Not simple in terms of learning, applying and automated the system. However simple as I’m not over complicated movements. Thank you again, Peace
Dude, there are 52 fkn blocks lol how you gonna call that simple? 🤣
Dude I'm sorry ,you can't do all that in a real street fight !
I can I get involved into 52 blocks
Peace, where are you from?
Originally I from North Carolina but living in Ohio right now
Outstanding! Can I add a warning ? whenever your arms cross each other the outside arm can be used t trap the arm closest to you. To be exact, by applying pressure with the hand to the opponent’s elbow would trap the interior crossed arm making both arms useless. Also that back hand fist brilliant when used to chop into to the side of neck(warning:side of the neck is most unknown knock out) . Outstanding!
Peace King, very constructive “warning.” Appreciate the detailed observation on different scenarios. I’m humbled, thank you for the support and comment… Peace
Just one thing on the trapping aspect. Technically your correct but in reality they rarely happen. If you look at people like Geoff Thompson who have had 100's of violent confrontations things like trapping just don't work.
One must remember that the blocks in 52 eb skull and bones can be used pre-emptively.
@@jw-vx8im you are correct of course. I would add that things don’t work , instead one must make them work. One RARELY MUST fight! The average street fight last about 9 seconds and one will have no chance to remember pre planned moves, only principles and ideas. Like to control the elbow is to control the arm. Thanks again j w ! Stay frosty ☃️
@@ownone7759 to solve that problem, god gave us the gift of muscle memory
I'm sorry, but 52 blocks doesn't work against a real boxer.
Sir, you might include some combinations of clearing the guard.
great vid my brother
Peace @chosen1one always humbled and appreciative of the acknowledgment. Peace
Off topic, but anyone ever tell you that you favor Nipsey Hustle..?🤔
yes they have.
Swear😂😂😂 was thinking that
I LOVE THESE TECHNIQUES…CAN YOU SHOW THESE BLOCKS WITH A 3-piece FOLLOW UP??… I GET THE BLOCKS WITH THE COMBO…
Peace King, appreciate the question and humbled by your support. Next 52 upload (soon) I’ll demonstrate a 3-piece incorporated with the blocks. Peace
@@infinite7fit741 THANX DAWG… I DONT HAVE ANY KIDS…(SONS)… SO IM DOING THIS WITH MY NEPHEW… WE BOTH LOVE 52!!!❤️💯✌🏿👊🏿
No wasted movement..
Peace, the fluidity of movement is the goal of all movement… combat or otherwise… appreciate your attention to detail… peace
Looks a lot like Shapeshifting. But I’m a student of both and many more. Some works somethings don’t. Use what works for you. Bc any one thing will get you beaten by a Jack of many without being a master of none. I know you can dig it.
Peace, I can dig it.
52 looks cringy like Kung fu it works but looks funny af because real application is diferent
Came here because of Yoel Romero~
Same two moves is that all there is? Hips, not waist man.
No balance
What do you bring to the table? Why don't you make a video showing your great balance? At least this guy puts it out there, you are just a frightened little troll who has no balance or much else.
@@NormanScyth I'm a soldier I bring blood and freedom to the table.
@@hasanmorris5853 Are you in the military, or something?
I come from a military family and yes I am former contract soldier . That was all before med school.
I been studying these blocks just from watching videos like these great stuff
Peace King the objective is to use what’s useful and discard the rest. Wise man…. Thank you for the comment and support.
Not one person has ever done this in a real fight.... not ever
@Righteous Shadows Dojo lol. Cut it out..
@Righteous Shadows Dojo I've been watching these 52 blocks videos for over a decade now and not one real fight of anyone using 52 has been posted other than Mr 52 fighting those bartender guys and even that wasn't much
@Righteous Shadows Dojo you're hilarious... Ain't nobody using this nonsense in a real fight LOL maybe some convict getting jumped by six other people but by then he would have got shanked in his ribs
@Righteous Shadows Dojo you didn't send me anything LOL what the hell are you talking about? Go to sleep
😂 fack
If it’s a straight lol but I get it
That second block is not a block it’s a cover my brother a hood example of finger as a cover is the shoulder roll
Nice video 📹
Thanks for the visit
These are the beginning blocks for 52 here that your demonstrating?
Peace, it’s a combination of basic 52 Blocks and different strikes I implemented.
Nice
Peace, ✌🏾
I use the old Fairbairn system ( it has no blocking) so lm adding your blocks to it. Thanks my friend.
Peace, any system that’s practical is great in my opinion. 52 is complimentary to any system. Strive to incorporate what’s useful for you. Thank you for the support. 🫡
Im looking forward to try these new techniques with a punch bag first. Then, ill use them in the next sparring session
Peace, yes indeed. Use what useful and disregard the rest. Thank you sir 🫡
IF U KNOW WHAT 52 LOOK LIKE THEN U THIS IS NOT IT
Those techniques, I've noticed, are also a good way to condition
your arms----Gets em' used to being HIT.
Peace, getting use to getting hit. Yes sir always good to be experienced.
Does anybody eat garlic everyday? It's a antibiotic right .
I think the elbow block is a forward elbow thrust.
This is impractical against low kicks…
You know Light Burly???
Peace, not personally, though I’ve built with him a couple of times.
Only thing my goofass can think about is Brandy I Wanna Be Down video 😄
This reminds me of prison fights
Peace King, and finally somebody has connected the dots… though this is universal real life fighting, it’s heavily influenced by jail house locking! Thank you sir, peace!
I wanna learn hpe to box that shit is not gonna help me in sparring thats why don't watch these dudes who I feeel.line don't know nothing about boxing but much respect its just not for me
this a form/kata/tao/pumse?
what's it called?
Peace, I’m not entirely sure which part your referring too, however, this would be a partial sequence of 52 blocks.
Do you have to walk through so many different types of blocks before you attack? I mean the rule of boxing would be to defend with one move, and then immediately counterattack.
Absolutely not. Try not to misconstrue the point of the video(s). These combos are ideas of application. Each block is great as a stand alone as well. Remember I’m posting for real life fights… would you do this whole combo in a street fight? All depends on the scenario. One punch could end the fight without all the extras. Practice the skills so if the situation arise you’ll know what to do… aka confidence. Thank you for the question, peace.
@@infinite7fit741 I didn't mean to offend you. But I get your point of doing moves for the sake of practice, and not doing it how you would do it in a real life scenario.
Don't overcomplicated the blocks they work. Choose 2 blocks and perfect them and then you will know.
Good video man, interesting stuff! Forget the petty bootleg haters, wtf do they contribute to the discussion. Keep posting and living your truth.

Peace, appreciate your support. I’ll continue to post you continue to stop by and add on to your greatness! Peace
SWEET I love that style.Practicing right now.Bad man
Appreciate the feedback
what's the application of the crossed arms position? I think i've seen it called butterfly in another 52 video? but never seen its use for blocking
2 tell ya the truth most of 52 blocks including the most popular 1 : skull and crossbones, r useless.
there's only a select few like hand rolls, bank robber mask, and houdinis that come in handy for real fight applications
but even those were taken from muay thai originally, so choose wisely.
this is used as a diversion or a block. always keep in mind this is geared towards street fighting. if an opponent sees this after “locking up” it could provide a split second pause for you to get off (diversion). also any obstacle you put up between you and punches is a block.
@@arkabasu4851 Idk man i see poirer and romero use the skull and crossbones judiciously in UFC.
@@arkabasu4851 skull and bones works and can be offensively used.
Do some sparring with someone and slip in the skull and bones they will get a nice surprise
@@arkabasu4851 skull and cross bones aint useless.
Respect. An old school Marine friend from N.Y. introduced me.

Thank you sir!........Just subscribed.
Peace, appreciate the support
Never seen a fighting style with hands out front like that. I guess it’s a “ I don’t want to fight” gesture. But it would deflect front or straight punches, The 3rd blocked you did was only to the right side leading to a right backhand. Would be more effective IMO, if it could be done on the left side too. Thanks for sharing the system.
Yes indeed the “I don’t want to fight” stance provides relaxed variability. More so as a defense. Meaningful dialogue is appreciated and value to people reading the comments. I thank you with honor and respect ✊🏾
Honestly the starting position is not that far off from the high guard in Muay Thai.
Thank you for this. 52 blocks is effective and i feel blends very well with southern Chinese martial arts
Peace, 52 Blocks is very effective indeed. Critics miss the value due to rigid traditional beliefs or lack of knowledge. Nevertheless, 52 is the water that can flow with any martial arts. Continue supporting the channel. Peace

There's an aspect you're forgetting, something to help protect
you against a 'hook. But I think I'll keep it to myself. Gotta'
Take every advantage a guy can GET--- Right?
Skull and bones against the hook or close the door
Peace, yes take every advantage. Nothing is full proof. Techniques are practiced and executed with the intent to be successful in your endeavors. However being practical, anything can happen. Somebody can grab a bat and start swinging that’ll a change the dynamics… the objective is to stay ready and we’ll prepared as possible.

@@infinite7fit741 no problem just keep up that ☠️ skull and crossbones Jailhouse rock prison fighting system and the 52 blocks your a true master of it
So similar to what I have been playing around with out of what I have learnt of the 52 Blocks system.
It looks exactly like my own motions, and with the same type of combinations coming off the blocks.
(The backhand hammerfists work really well off the blocks, to be sure, but friends who are trained fighters also, soon pick up on these coming off the blocks if one uses them too many times in sequence.... Changing up what one throws off the blocks is of paramount importance, I have found....
