This was a cool video. I often think about how to get amazing asmr bike sounds without the wind noise. Only thing I can think of would be an external recorder somehow facing away from the wind and also being blocked by one of the tubes to make sure it’s picking up all the actual sounds of the bike, wheels, and environment. It be awesome if you could figure it out and implement it. Safe riding!
@@BUCKSHOTSTV thanks for watching and I am happy you enjoyed the video. There’s a UA-camr called ‘terry b’ he rides in nyc and he gave me the inspiration along with many other riders who do what I did. His setup is unreal and I’m going to try and replicate it with some modifications of my own next time. I have some ideas but it’s a lot of money to get the equipment. The wind has always been an enemy on the bike. Your idea sounds solid and I will put that in the modification process since it sounds like that would filter out the wind. If you ride, you should record. It sounds like you can make stunning cycling videography
@ I do ride but not enough to warrant making videos. And yes I’m a huge fan of Terry B’s videos, they’re cinematic! Definitely a good example to look at. Your style video was great, so I’m sure with time all you’ll do is get better at crafting your rides! I recently went to nyc for the first time and rode the 5 boro bike tour in May. It was my longest ride and best experience on a bike seeing the city. I live in rural south Texas so that was an amazing experience all around. I hope I can do it again next year. I actually recorded my whole ride but somehow my go pro reset and recorded in 360p 🤦🏽♂️ so the video looks like something from the 1980’s lol. It had a cool vibe tbh, but I was bummed that it looked so pixelated and the rainy weather didn’t help with colors at all lol
Bro. I feel you. I’ve done some sweet rides/races with the GoPro and once it rains, it just kills the video. I actually sold my GoPro and am debating on getting their newest version now. The 360 is good but I might head back to the single lens and not have to deal with the 360 distortion/warp. I checked the ride out, if I’m off and if it’s on a weekend, I might contemplate on going to nyc. That must have been a killer ride especially with the elevation. 40 miles, That’s good stuff 😎😎I still need to cycle in Texas
I ride in Shanghai, so I would say our experience might be similar, lots of cars and people, as well as being chaotic. However, luckily, we have bike lanes here.
