I play at Middlesbrough Padel Club (Theo and Fos's home club) and I've played mixed doubles against Theo. To anyone doubting his level, trust me, he's an incredible padel player (his smash scared the life out of me 😂) and also very good at tennis. 💪🏻🎾
its easy to analyse other peoples games.. so here goes..... often when you volley or hit shot which puts you out of position, close to the reja, you stay there... instead of immediately moving back into position. The space between you and your partner, who also does not occupy a good position on the court, is way to open. You spend a lot of time in the transition zone, which I am sure you teach your students not to do, but so many times you are both there. A fake smash will beat you every time if you stay there as you will never make it back. Either defend or attack, but you need to move from side to side depending where the ball is on the other side of the court. Also you have many points where you could smash and you dont attack the ball hardly at all... even for a right sided player, you can still win points, smash or vibrora to the reja on the opposite side..... Many of your overheads are struggles to get the ball back, instead of a good bandeja as you are then too close to the net or dont move quick enough..... Watch yourself and I am sure you can both improve, simply mejorando la position en la pista.... .vamos
I do teach my students not to stay in the transition zone, but this does not apply to advanced players. When you reach a certain level there are some benefits from playing in this area. For instance watch how often the pros play in this zone. The overheads you mention are called “ganchos”. You play these when you dont have time to play a proper bandeja but you still don’t want to let the ball bounce since you think you are still in a position to fight for the net
Hi Gonzalo, I enjoy playing with my gf but her level is a little bit lower than mine so every time the another team target her constantly. Any tip when this happened? Great videos, gracias!!!💪🎾
Yeah, I was wondering myself as well. Seem like solid playtomic 5 players (camera always slows down the ball), but coming from the Netherlands, the level in Belgium and Netherlands is much higher (and of course, in Spain and the likes even way higher again). Probably because my country was introduced to Padel a bit earlier than the UK?
You are right. In UK everything started a bit late and it will take a few years to catch-up. However I can guarantee that Theo is significantly stronger than lvl 5 Playtomic players
@@padeldriver Ah! Could also be the playtomic level differs from country to country. I think Dutch playtomic 5 is pretty high. The guys in this (5y old clip) clip are playtomic 5.3-5.7 (I looked them up: KNLTB Padel Najaar Playoffs Goris/Meijer vs. Maarsen/Meindert

WTF top 7 of UK?? is this a joke?? my regional league in Spain is waaaaay better, even I am much better than this match wtf none of the 4 end the movements when hitting the ball xDD so many easy balls that none ends the point lol
@@padeldriverdude I can swear you I am better than anyone from this matcha. But thats the thing, I am not that good overall, this game is low level, thats the truth, at least compared to spanish padel

you should inject some testos ,you don't use power for viboras and smash
Such a good advice! 👍
