I saw and heard one at GMH Dandenong back in 1973. It was Torona green XU1 with the difference external running twin exhaust, but no information on whether it was a 302 or 350 ci.
The Three V8 LJ Prototypes were LJ GTR Torana's and not LJ XU1s. The Barney Shirt LJ XU1 Styling Car that Leo from GMH Styling did was involved in the V8 LJ Program. They were the only Cars.
