I love them glad they're still pushing. I was hoping jay z didn't jade them. I absolutely fell in love with them 1st time I ever heard them long before "roc boys". They were street players think all brothers. Talent for sure. I used to create music to their stuff
Awesome I play tuba and this is incredible. I mean, he's playing that sousaphone with no keys. The trumpets also really got the melody and so did the trombone and baritone.
@TheGraffiteGhost They have been playing those instruments sense their father taught them how to play when they were children. i find that pretty cool.
About time. Indie bands have been bringing in brass for this very reason. So perfected. I wish I had a lot of money to pay these guys to walk and play behind me while I'm taking care of my business. Just streight up bad ass.
@matthewbreuer HELL YEAH!! i'll learn this...it 's so fucking powerfull! i play euphonium for 4 years and this will be my master piece =D thanks man, thanks!
no i wasnt in slovakia they played in Galway Ireland last month i watched this vid a couple of hours after i saw dem in Galway they were so energetic that it took me a couple of hrs 2 come dwn from da high i was on after da concert lol :D
Does anyone know why they aren't using a sousaphone player anymore? Sousa sounds WAY better than the electric bass they are using instead right now on tour.
@jacklemas idk bout you, but seein these guys with banged up brass to me tells me that these guys are as veteran with their instruments as the condition of them shows. I guess each ding on the instrument also acts as a sort of notch on the belt in a way.
If I ever see them playing in the neighborhood, I'm going to run home, get my trumpet, run back hoping they'are playing this song, and join in. Hypnotic Brass, I love you guys. Amazing performance.
Hi guys! Awesome track i love it! Somebody can send me the sheets of this song? I'd like to learn it, and maybe play it with our band! TROMBONE RULZ, BRASS POWER!!! :D
I love how they prove you can sound fantastic on beater instruments that are all to hell, with dents and wrinkles galore. Brass players obsess too much.

I KNOW!! He was so talented, and I much prefer it's character and sound. Oh well... I can still listen to the old recordings.
I'd love to see this Chicago band playing alongside the Chicago Transit authority.

@jaredjjacobs gooood question:) maybe they just hit them with a hammer or something to get that jazzy sound.. i don´t know.. BUT THEY SOUND AWSOOOME!!
I wanna know why the sousaphone player has his bell off to one side.
is that a g star drum skin?
Welcome to kentlake pep band
Do they fold their instruments and put them in their pockets after playing?
@LeviMan2001 1:33 is that not what you're talking about?
It gets so dang sexy at 2:07
did you know that they are all brothers?
We can see that. Just say they are black. Lol. They are sons of Phil Cohran.
they drum on a pair of jeans? huh ?
I love how they prove you can sound fantastic on beater instruments that are all to hell, with dents and wrinkles galore. Brass players obsess too much.
It's a Baritone =P
Why don't they play what they actually sound like in public and not just a recording
I didn't have a good audio recorder while shooting this...
Somebody buy these guys some better horns! They're all bent up! no need in playing on those!
Fantastic sound and talent!
would be kind of degrading to them though lol
holy funk!!!
