Thank you for saying this. I know this comment was made a year ago, but I just saw it. I really do think the same that we might have lost Shane if it hadn't been for Ryland. It breaks my heart knowing that he was in such a dark place. But I'm so glad that Ryland was able to pull him back from the brink.

I hope they sell the house. I think this chapter needs to be celebrated, remembered, and closed. Shane is on a great new journey with the changes they've made. Maybe in the future, they can buy a nice, small place that they can use as a vacation home and rent out as an Airbnb when they aren't there.

THE WAY SHANE MAKES RYLAND FALL INTO GETTING THINGS IS BY SHANE GIVING THE ITEMS A PERSONALITY. Saying things like “look at him, he’s so lonely “ and Rylands like “you’re right let’s get it”.

As someone who lives in LA and is not in the influencer/entertainment field, LA is a great place to live. If anyone hasn’t spent time and lived in LA, and you’re only viewpoint is through celebrities/influencers then your viewpoint of LA isn’t accurate. No hate to anyone but LA is my hometown and there are a lot of wonderful things about this place (weather, beaches, great food). But I do agree that Shane and Ryland seem happier in Colorado.

@@alexm192 haha I’m glad someone agrees with me. The entertainment/influencer industry is what is toxic, not Los Angeles. It just happens to be that people who want to make it in the entertainment business live in LA. So when people in that business say LA is toxic it kind of pisses me off. Shane and Ryland did what’s best for them to continue doing UA-cam without having toxicity around them and I’m very happy that they’re now happy.

Did you go out? If when you HAD to go out how would people react? What did you do with your time? What were the notes you were writing down?

I understand Shane 100% and it’s hard to explain to people who don’t have bad memory association problems or trauma association problems. Once you get out of that space, going back just triggers a difficult mental state and it’s like you never want to go back
Yes, I once used to love going to this specific town in my state, but something bad happened there. Five years later, I don't go anywhere close to the vicinity or direction of that town, and avoid anything that triggers bad memories. It's hard because a close friend of mine lives there too. As soon as shane said that I could easily relate.

I understand Shane’s feelings toward the house completely. I am currently living in my first rental house of my own and have been for the past few years throughout college. I’ve had some great times here, but I’ve also had such awful times too. It’s very hard to let go and move out and move on. I’ve been wanting to move for so long, but have been afraid to let go. I think this video is the push I need to remember I can move on and let go, and that’s okay.

The house provided shelter in your thickest storms. It’s understandable to have attachments and hesitation. The best thing to do is to make the decision when you’re most at peace. That way whatever you decide doesn’t leave you feeling like you’ve left stones unturned.
