I've only ever seen an R32 and obviously R35's out in the wild, It would be awesome to see all the generations at a car show some day. Glad you guys are keeping this one to give that experience to people.
Been waiting for an update on this! So good to see some progress on the car. Coming along nicely! I painted mine red because it's the rarest colour. Just saying! 😄
Rarest and FASTEST! When we tore it down for paint we started noticing some hidden prior paint jobs. When we investigated further we found hidden rust. We we stripped it down to the bare metal to make sure it was done right. Thanks for sticking with us while we sort it out!
Rebuilding and resto_modding the cars that inspired their modern contemporaries, is a great way to educate and encourage all generations to embrace what was, what is, and what is possible. I'm here to learn! Color wise for this build im leaning millennium jade!
We love the challenge. The subframe and steering rack on this build was tricky. The rear suspension was upgraded too thanks to some help from A'PEXi. Yes! Millennium Jade is an amazing color!
@JustDriven when you were talking about the scarcity of certain panels due to condition, I wondered about the suspension side of things. Lots of fab work in the future!
one thing I love is that you guys use paint! sure wraps are fun and easy, and easy for me to say, but they feel like a cheat to avoid doing the "real deal"
Paint requires another level of commitment. We've dealt with paint for so long it's hard to let it go. Plus there's nothing like looking deep into a nice paint job.
Regarding the hood: Liberty Walk posted on their social media pages (look to early July this year) that they have developed reproduction metal kenmeri hoods. Worth looking into. I'd be curious to see a kenmeri skyline in bayside blue!
That depends on the car. The older ones tend to go quicker. Removing the wiring can be very tedious. Usually we handle this over the course of a couple days.

Yah, we are happy to hold onto this one and add it to our collection to be able to share with the community.
Definitely looking forward to this build.
We think it's going to be pretty special.

I can't wait to see the kenmeri build❤
This is one of our favorites. Lots of work has already gone into it. And more to come!
What a legend of a build can never go wrong with a classic 👌
Thank you! This thing is going to be so cool when it's done.

Never seen one not even when I lived in Japan. This is a beauty. Vids are 🔥
Heck ya! Thank you. Well, you'll get to see this one if you're ever in SoCal!
As much as I love the Hako Skyline, seeing a Kenmeri being built is incredible because like you said you just don’t see any of them
Nice! Thanks for agreeing. Great minds think alike as they say.
Great work ! Wish I would have one 32 :)
An R32 GT-R? We want one too!

We will look into that. Thank you for the heads up! Bayside is always a great color.
I have three ideas:
Midnight purple
Midnight purple II
Midnight purple III
Just saying... 😅
Hmmm...Not a bad idea. Brings that modern feel to it.
+1 midnight purple
How about a Midnight Purple, that'll be so cool.
That's a great idea!
How long does it take to tear down the car ?

gunmetal (like the R32's gunmetal) would be cool i think..
Yah, that's a great color!
Deep purple color
Deep purple? Almost midnight? Maybe something like a Midnight Purple?
