Back in Summer you would have probably seen the hype around the competition we ran with You Win Competitions, that not only, raised money to support the superb work Melanoma Focus do... but also offered a group of winning anglers the chance to fish with the absolute A-Team of Team Korda (including Danny Fairbrass) as their gillies for the entire weekend! 🤯

Fantastic work everyone. Anyone who knocks and slags Danny off needs to re-evaluate their opinions. The bloke puts back so much, both into the sport and out, and is a true ambassador for carp fishing. And all from the humble beginnings of knocking out a few leads. Due a knighthood imo for all the great work he has done.

Danny you are 100% my hero like your self I suffered with the big company too. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Like you I was one of the rare cases where after having my testicul remove I then had to go under chemotherapy with I had to have 9 week if the harsh chemo going. I had what was called a 3day beb. 3days a week for 9 weeks.
Big c is a big thing and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. I am a very keen carp angerler myself and after having to spend so long away from fishing watching you was what kept me going. You boys at korda do an amazing job and I love each and everyone of you. Your video have help Me catch my pb on a very tricky lake 29lb. Must I add lol. Still pushing to get in the 30lb club. But again just want to say a big thanks from everyone that appreciate the work you guys do. Martin Jones
One of the best Carp vids i have watched. Being a registered Nurse, and a Carp angler, it has bothered me that there is so much "Technical Advice", But so little advice on staying safe on the bank.
I had a melanoma, and survived, my 37 yr old Daughter was not so lucky. So i have wanted to get the word out there, but now i don't have to, Danny and his Consultant both have a much louder voice than me.
It was great to see Emily on the bank, and watch what a novice has to go through, (Don't worry Em, we have all been there at some point.)
It was great to hear the views of the Consultant, Who had no clue as to what we do. (As most don't).
Just great.

Great video guys and thanks for highlighting skin cancer... I was diagnosed with it about 3 months ago and it been a stressful time.. Had a chunk taken off my right ear and awaiting results from that to see what further treatment I need.
