Emily!! Congratulations to you and Igor! I’m a long time sub and I’m elated for all of the good things coming for you! I have a sister so I know how it is when you’re happy for your sister but waiting for your manifestations to come to fruition. This is YOUR TIME, YOUR new journey and your manifestations materializing right before your eyes! You were so gracious and happy when Abby did the house, baby, engagement, wedding. It’s YOUR turn and you deserve all of this and more! I know I’m not the only one cheering you on and talking to my screen🤗🥰 My advice to you is coming from my years of not being happy and then when my happiness arrived, I felt scared in a way to actually relax, enjoy and believe and almost apologetic like people were going to get sick of me and the stupid smile in my face or that I had to tone down my joy yet I was always happy for them. Not saying you’re going to do that just saying DON’T ever. You earned this in all the ways! Love and light to you and Igor 💗💗 My husband and I built our house and my advice is to go very slow in furnishing bc you will change your mind a lot. Don’t rush and don’t let it bother you if there are a lot of empty spaces just take your time. Get pieces that have storage whenever you can and stay neutral bc you can always add accents w color in small doses if you ever want to. Hold out for your wants when but don’t let stress make you just get it to check it off. Gas fireplaces always have a weird smell when new and the first time you turn it in each season but if you smell gas for more than a moment have it checked and then have it checked and cleaned every year. My husband and I argued sometimes in the beginning over dumb stuff when trying to decide on things. We had an epic one over light fixtures one day that we laugh about now. It all works out!! Congratulations again ! 🤍

Beautiful house, congratulations to both of you. For that nook upstairs, I would do a cute little reading nook. Your kids would love it someday or for yourself would be cozy. I would check with the city to see if you could take those trees down. They may be a hazard when storms come through. If the trees can’t be taken down it would be awesome to build a cute treehouse for your kids someday and amazing backyard for a dog. The backyard would also be great if you wanted to start your own vegetable garden. Beautiful house XOXO.
It’s definitely going to be a reading spot 🥰 I called the city and luckily they said we don’t need a permit to take some down but we can’t take them all down. We had a stormy night and it was looking very sketchy so we are getting them down asap 🥴 but I will definitely be planting my own smaller trees in the spring 🥰
Congrats on the new place!! Not sure if you’re still looking for a couch but I’d 10/10 recommend crate and barrel couches, we got ours a few years ago and it still looks perfect. Doesn’t stain, everything wipes off the fabric. It’s super soft and comfortable, you can pick the layout/design, and it’s super easy to move around.

A squeegee for that glass shower will save your life keeping water spots off the glass. I got a cute one on Amazon and have it hanging in my shower and clean the water off the glass every shower and honestly it’s kinda fun/satisfying.

So happy for you! So until then we’re stuck in apts😅. I love this for you and Igor though. You both work so hard and seem to be very in love❤!! I hate the countertops in our apartment too so I found some contact paper and covered them!! I went for a very mild white marble. I also changed every lightbulb to White instead of that beige yellow 🤢 It really brightened the space! A pool in the backyard would really make this house a 10 for me right now it’s at a solid 9.9 😂! I would cut down the trees and then be like oopps sorryyy haha. Igor’s a lawyer I’m sure he can find a way out of any trouble you encounter. Or if you leave the trees and just clear the bushes and still get a pool, just hire a pool boy !! There are also automatic pool rovers that clean the pool for you! Will yall be getting a dog ? That sooo much space in the house and backyard ! A dogs paradise! I cannot wait to see your closets!!! So happy for you 😭❤😭❤😭❤😭❤

We just did a home remodel and tore down some walls and all the things. I hated my bathroom counter tops but liked my cabinets so the contractor said he could refinish them to save money. They turned out beautiful. One he did white, matte white so it looks like stone and the other he did black. We have white cabinets with black hardware and a black shower in the master and it came out very nice and saved us money. Maybe you can do that until your warranty is up.
Okay now that I’ve watched and you asked for suggestions: The room you said that you can see into the neighbors, get those windows tinted! We have really big windows at the front of our house and didn’t like that people could just see in, so we got them tinted. From the outside they look mirrored/glossy but SO good!
Congratulations! Just FYI, if your gas fireplace is lit it should not smell like gas! All the gas should be getting burned. I would check in with your warranty to get that checked ASAP.
The builder said if it’s a brand new home it might have that smell for a couple of months but if it continues I will definitely get it checked out! Thanks for looking out queen 🫶🏼
