Watching this doc in 2022......it is really interesting to know that in 2003 how Japanese underestimated the productivity power of labor in china......Chinese can work as slavey that Japanese cannot copy.
@@just-nala Ah, nice. Full "ownership" of the assembly, but no ownership of the fruit of your labor - the profit. Garbage. "Here, you are responsible if this fails, but you don't get the rewards if it succeeds."

Feel sad for the folks here. They could've been working on interesting products, instead of whatever nonsense this is. Ultimately Chinese with their low standards of living and low livings costs, beat out these folks.
They probably paid this factory redesigner a fortune to basically tell them to make people do more work for the same amount of pay. Laughable. The wisdom of a modern day Witch Doctor or Fortune Teller.
I 'd like Sanyo to come back to the US market!
They made great stuff in the 80s.
They went from one of the greatest stereo manufacturers of all time to an absolute s h e l l of what they were
M nougchi, is really great fast & genius lady , excellent job

So much for that.
Strange. I watched from 15:50 to 16:10 now and it plays nice. Maybe you can check another resolution?
Speed sometimes causes low quality of production
I love Japan
SANYO Radio and National panasonic
Sanyo denki💓
I know this video is old. I love Sanyo products but I am just wondering the reason Sanyo is no longer has the market here in the US!
As I understand it, they were taken over by Panasonic in 2011 and dont exist as an electronics manufacturer anymore.
Machen Sie es Extras wegen Zeitschrift & Frauen Zeitungen.....?
does anyone know about the background music of this documentary?
yeah seems like it is no blasmusik
Video "breaks" at 16:04 and must be restarted. Otherwise onteresting video.
In America, not one of these workers would give a crap and go right to the UI office the day the factory closed and make more money sitting at home.
Wow wow
Good example of over production, the worse MUDA for a company.
Doesn't it put increase unnecessary stress on the individual worker when you have each person do total assemblies from start to finish?
