A guy from Costa Rica catch your video.... As I found good and cheap I think spare blades for my Sensor Excel... Probably from early 2000s.... I went to Walmart in Costa Rica and they have this Gillette Sensor 3.... They fit perfectly.... Thanks for your video
Looks like Tony you're completely over the cold and getting back to normal that's good thanks for the video. How's Percy?? In regards to the razor, that was the best razor Gillette ever put out after they went away from that they started getting into the 3 4 5 blade cartridge razors which increase the price to nothing short of ridiculous
Two blades were better than 3. It clogs more often Thant Mach 3 due to smaller space between blades, but is much better going trough smaller spaces (like doing mustache right below the nose) and general face contour.
Cool man! Thanks for doing that! I’ve been using my Sensor Excel for over 20 years. I was curious how much you’d like it, since you have tried so many of these “new and improved” razors. You’ve confirmed I’m not missing out on anything. When the “Mach 5” came out I was wondering if they were going to keep adding blades until the cartridge was longer than it was wide. Lol
The Gillette sensor Excel was released in 1993 I was 5 year's old when they came out with the Gillette sensor Excel and I was 14 year's old when they came out with the Gillette sensor 3 cartridge Razor right now I'm 31 years old plus the Gillette sensor Excel was my Dad's favorite cartridge Razor I miss my Dad every single day plus I bought that Gillette sensor 3 cartridge Razor in his honor I can see why you and my Dad loved the Gillette sensor Excel it works like a charm it does it's Job it goes in goes out and gets on with the Day
I love it I Love my Gillette sensor 3 cartridge Razor it works Like Brand New and it has the same handle That you have it's amazing plus I shaved with my Gillette sensor 3 cartridge Razor it's amazing
Great no- fuss shave. Was my favourite razor about 20 years ago. Could barely afford the blades but was the only thing that got me through many years of acne without cutting my face up. I can't find my handle anymore. But the closest handle to it by Gillette, would be the Blue 3 and that takes excel like 3 blades which may be Sensor 3 in some markets and the standard excel or just plain sensor blades; same technology handle.
You also should try the gillette pure cream if you haven’t already. Readily available in stores. Love it. Scent is reminiscent of that Nivea you’re using here. It’s an all natural lathering cream.
Wow, I struck a nerve with the footage comment...and I see Edgewell/Schick is still taking a stab at “THE MAN” Gillette......P.S....need to change my blade today as well...

Greetings from NY👋🏽
I just bought a off brand sensor excel handle for $9 now that I am looking I like the look of the original black rubber looking handle vs the silver.
Nice.

I like the sensor, but I have to admit that technology has improved shaving for the average guy. You need to use better technique to go old school 👍🏽
The sensor excel was my first razor when I started shaving.
Yup. It’s a throw back for sure.

Yes, it was a great razor for it’s time, but the beginning of the Shave Wars because of the cost of the blades.
@@averageguytested That was always their endgame and all us suckers for marketing... 😁
The way you lather showed the anger u had towards your beard 😂
😂😂
Sure it isn't anger towards me?
@@averageguytested I wonder if it's actually anger towards me?....

You should get into some aftershave, I would recommenced some bargains to start off, Aqua Velva, Brut, Clubman Pinaud
Thanks!
Brut is so nice

ALL LIES DO YOU HEAR ME!! IT'S LIES!!!.....oh.... yeah Hi.....B-man here....
Happy Labor Day Tony!!
You too!
Personally I like the sensors better than mach3 or fusions (five blades is ridiculous)
Agreed. They should have stopped with the Mach3
Tried this razor a couple months ago and on my face it was great but on my head it felt like i was shaving my head with a rock lol
😂
i know i went into cvs and found they have the bic 1 blade disposables would you give those a try maybe 1 day
Sure - I may have already done a review of them. Let me check.
@@averageguytested You haven't...you're still angry at the Bic Flex 2...
Lather snob reporting in...
More water in the brush before applying the cream to it would really improve performance - “Painting not Spackling”😂😂😂
😂😂

You’ll be hitting that nerve more in upcoming videos 😂
@@averageguytested well I played the lotto so.......might have to fly over and yell at you :P
👌

Microfins. Sensor excel probably the best cartridge razor ever. Will always keep one around.
Yes, Microfins - marketing is awesome!
theMediaMart 😂 that’s why we keep buying all this crap. Way after we say “I love this razor so much, I never need another one” yep.
...and I have enough blades to shave for the next 18 years........walmart clearance isle.....
😂😂
@@averageguytested Okay...there women's and they are white and pink but STILL!
Way too dry lather man, more hydration = better glide
👍🏽
This plastic razors never helps me with the shave
It’s not plastic- this is the old school handle
@@averageguytested aluminum?
Yes, I believe so.
@@averageguytested never use it before one a time years ago i use wilkinson sword or blue 3 call it as you know sensor Excel.
