Thank you for taking the time to let us know how Lakewood Ranch faired during the storm.
You are most welcome!
No damage to my home in Bradenton but several trees, limbs and debris. Worked outside from 10am until 7 pm
But all in all good. Prayers to those to the south of us ❤
Glad to hear Stephanie
Thank you for taking time during a period of disaster to let me know about LakeWood Ranch. We are thinking of buying there. So these videos made me feel more secure about this location.
Carla, thanks for your comment. We have a little clean up to do, but we are very fortunate.
Thanks for the update, Mark. I live in Park East and am away for work. Your video really helped give me peace of mind since the cell tower and power were out and I couldn’t reach my husband. Thank you!
Glad to help Anita!
Thanks for the update Mark glad you and your property made it thru the storm safely my wife and I love LWR and are hoping to move there in a few years thanks again 😊
You bet Michael.
Thank you very much for sharing news about the surrounding area. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone devastated by the storm.
Thanks Barbara, and out thoughts go out to our neighbors to the south.
Thank you Mark for the video. Glad your family and home are safe. Just got home to LWR this afternoon following 48 hours as part of the disaster response team at a nearby children’s hospital. Utterly devastated to see what has happened to our neighbors down south.
Kenny, thank you for your contributions to the community!
Thank you! Our new house in Lake Shore Cove is 5 weeks away from being complete!🙏
Oh wow! I think you should be good.
Other than a few uprooted trees in my apartment complex overall I was very safe and secure during this hurricane. Prayers for those south of us as I've seen the damages.
Glad you faired well Mark. I watched the storm pass through all day on a live UA-cam channel called ( Ryan Hall Y'all ) They have storm chasers and meteorologist with awesome radar , commentaries, live fedds , and pictures. This storm has definitely influenced our concerns and considerations of possibly living in the area. Lakewood Ranch has moved up the list. Thanks for sharing your experience. Ken & Lisa in Ohio
Thanks Ken and Lisa. I think we really were lucky here in LWR.
Both lanes of Deer Drive off Lakewood Ranch Blvd coming in to Waterside were completely underwater and impassable. The Summerfield park was under 3 feet of water and the Greenrook Adventure park was as well. Lakewood Ranch BLVD north of Professional drive was impassable as well until late Friday.
Thanks for the info Cayman.
Your property is beautiful
Thank you so much.
Glad your ok bud
Thanks for your concern!
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch of course. That area got hammered. Sarastoa and tampa areas were lucky.
Thank you so much for sharing!!! I live in Esplanade and have been wondering if my house is okay for a week.
The Neighborhoods looked fine, just a few trees down, and screens out.
I have some roof damage in Harmony.
Any thoughts regarding how you feel this will impact new build timelines? Are all the laborers going to go down South or will they continue as planned here?
I would expect a slight interruption but we will be back to normal soon,
I realize this is a very crazy "ask", since you are not our real estate agent, but since you mentioned in this video you live in Country Club East if you just happen to pass 15206 Linn Park Terrace would you be willing to report on the general condition of the landscaping and home from what you can easily see? Our family currently has a contract pending to buy that home, we live out of state currently, and our agent is busy dealing with some more significant damage to a family member's home (outside of LWR.) We are sincerely hoping the damage to our intended purchase is not too bad and we can still move forward, and hopefully eventually be neighbors. Thanks so much for posting, and prayers to all those who were impacted more significantly.
I’ll try to go by tomorrow, send your email address to MarkBoehmig@michaelsaunders.com
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch Thank you so much, that's extremely kind of you. I will send you my email right now.
Still no power in the Holiday Heights / Bayshore Gardens area of Bradenton...
Hi Pam, hopefully it’ll be back on soon
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch Hi, they are saying Wednesday, looking forward to coming home, will kiss the floor!
Developers have tremendous Political Muscle, but in retrospect, building on Barrier islands as Hurricanes get Stronger, and more frequent, problems will continue.
I do believe the water level is rising, creating another issue for the coast line.
I live in CCE, off Whittlebury, and had two palms down, no lanai screen damage. Two houses across the lake from me, which are facing north, had their lanai screens torn.
I also noticed some stop signs, etc. knocked down. PVC doesn't seem to hold up too well!
Do you know what will happen here in CCE with downed trees? Do we need to line up a landscaper to remove, re-plant or replace them or will the HOA take care of it, being that this is "maintenance free"? None of the neighbors I spoke with yesterday seem to know what will happen. I sent an email to the HOA but got no response yet. For now I'm leaving the trees where they are (I couldn't move them if I wanted to!) and we'll see what happens.
Hi Robert, from what i undersatnd, the home owners will be responsible for clean up and replacement of trees and shrubs. I'm just the messsanger :)
We’re there any trees down or homes businesses destroyed and flooding
Yes, trees down, but no flooding or businesses destroyed that I know of.
