BGC is not somewhere we would choose to visit personally but for the wonders of technology we can 'visit' with you. Not city lovers but appreciate how clean it is and friendly the people are. Thanks and enjoy your time in Philippines. It is a stunningly beautiful country. 👍
One thing I like about BGC is the number of restaurants you can choose from. TGIFriday’s is quite popular here because of the big serving which is the standard entrees in the US. But lately, buffets like The Alley by Vikings are making a killing because for just paying a little extra, you get to eat unlimited food. The concept is this one is even cooler as they separate food selections by housing them in what looks like different restaurants, hence the name ‘The Alley.’ In most buffets, the food are just served in long tables, even if divided by sections, hence the flat layout.
I'm still so amazed how 20 years ago, these buildings, or even just BGC, didn't even exist. I was 12 years old last I was at "The Fort". There was an outdoor concert with Gary V, and I got to meet him backstage. And my memories of this area is all grassy area and military bases. I can't wait to see all the developments in the Philippines. Right now, I'm so excited for the subway. I'll be visiting this March and am so excited!
check out Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar in Bataan and do the balsa & gondola tours where you can have breakfast on the gondola while touring the heritage site. It also looks amazing at night.
BGC so far has 4 areas I believe, The High Street Area, Uptown BGC, ForbesTown Area, and University Area. all under the 240 hectares existing township today. Also, just nearby, its former areas back in the day during it was a Marine and Army Bases are also under construction and becoming BGC's loop extension somehow when it's done... The 160 hectares areas of Mc Kinley Hill (where the Venice Grand Canal is located), Mc Kinley West, and ARCA South, please do a tour as well in those areas, very near to the existing BGC now. Thanks.
As Filipinos, we are proud of what some of us have accomplished. The term is amazing, not being shocked of what Filipinos can do for their country! At times, you cannot underestimate the Filipinos nowadays!

KLCC is only 40 hectares development, BGC is 240 hectares township, and it has another extension under construction of 160 hectares more, the area districts called Mc Kinley Hill, Mc Kinley West, and Arca South, all areas were former military camps of the U.S. Forces back during the American colonization in PH.
@@darwinyuson9338 i have to check the map after i read your post that bgc is still expanding. not just expanding but a 160 hectares expansion. that's huge. apparently, the property of bgc extends all the way to south luzon expressway (slex)! they still have a lot of lands to develop.
@@wavemaker2077 they need to compete seriously head to head with those upcoming mega township projects there at Manila Bay, otherwise multinational headquarters will relocate there once those ultra-modern Cities are done (Horizon Manila, Pasay City Harbor Center, SM Bay City, and San Miguel Aeropolis are working very fast there, this pandemic time they already created huge islands that are already visible along Manila Bay). For now, "New Clark City" is more of a modern, world-class "sports complex" in the Philippines. Not really a residential or commercial area currently. "New Clark City" is the site of the most modern and Olympic-level venues for swimming, cycling, and track and field.
