Sneak peek into Thimphu Tshechu 2022

Held in the nation's administrative and religious center Tashichhodzong, Thimphu Tshechu is one of the most significant religious and social celebrations in Bhutan. Although the public attends the festival over the course of three days, monks and dancers make preparations months in advance. Mask dances performed during the annual tshechu are among the most visible manifestations of Bhutanese art.
