IMF is saying what the economists of Pakistan is saying that reduce your expenses and increase the revenue but the government is saying we will increase the revenue not by cutting the expenses but by imposing new taxes , I think that Rana sb should bring this fact into discussion
Stop nonsense..Gove expenses are much lesser than the tax theft by nation.. tax return is 9% of GDP . It.should be 15% .. gov expenses is less than 1% of GDP

IMF is giving 2 options, whether the government should reduce their expenses or implement new taxes . The PM is not willing to reduce the government expenditures and behaving like that It will be difficult thing to implement taxes on the poor people of Pakistan but the crux will be that after doing all this drama the government will impose new taxes but will not reduce their expenses because they are in the government to enjoy the perks and previledges at the cost of the people of Pakistan
