It looks cold because there was cold haha, around 10 degress of Celsius below 0. The worst thing is touching those cold steel elements with bare hands. I will post every step in building this machine.
@@marcinsmazik753 Myslalem nad patronem ale powstrzymuje mnie myśl, że nie jestem w stanie działać regularnie. Czasem jest to nawet pół roku między filmami, ze względu na naukę. Od pazdziernika do konca czerwca (poza świętami i niektórymi weekendami) nie mieszkam u siebie. Potencjalni wspierający raczej nie byliby zadowoleni z takich przerw w "contencie" ;)
@@SteelCraft99 no tak, mi osobiscie podoba się bardzo, że mlody koleś z taka pasją i profeską buduje i rozwija się. Sama przyjemność popatrzeć. Nie bolałaby mnie dotacja, tym bardziej, że tak troszke realizujesz moje marzenia o własym warsztacie (Biridgeport i Colchester w liscie życzeń 🙂) Większość filmików wykonana w świecie przez starych wyjadaczy a tutaj młody gość w PL. Wracam do roboty - jeszcze raz powodzenia
@@marcinsmazik753 Cieszę się, że podobają Ci się moje filmy. Przemyślałem sprawę jeszcze raz i założyłem profil na Patreonie. Jeszcze trochę muszę się tego systemu poduczyć. Tych starych wyjadaczy kiedyś ktoś musi zastąpić 😂
For the few years winters in Poland are warm (0 - 8 degrees of Celsius) , we have maksimum two weeks of real frost weather. Maybe one day I will install heating.
I hope you will have a gear on your tilting knuckle to allow you to make fine adjustments. The motor and spindle must weigh nearly 80 kg. Not the kind of weight you want to have coming loose and making you troubles! Mam nadzieję, że będziesz miał przekładnię na swojej przechylanej kostce, która pozwoli ci dokonać precyzyjnych regulacji. Silnik i wrzeciono muszą ważyć blisko 80 kg. Nie taki rodzaj wagi, jaki chcesz stracić i sprawić ci kłopoty!
@@SteelCraft99 yeah it’s expensive regardless of where you get it here. There may be a discount but most scrap is going to be at most 3/16 thick. I worked on the Mississippi River where we had barges of scrap, and I never once came across nice sheets like you had.
Great job with the given tools and capabilities by the way. I was attempting a concrete milling machine, but I am just going to buy one. I already spent so much just to build forms I figured it would end up with multiple failures and costs which would negate the benefits of a diy project.

80% of this machine is steel from junkyard. Is it really that expensive in US?
In Poland junk steel is around 3 times cheaper than new one.
