How does the green and magenta help on set with other lights like say the aputure 600d lights ?

Great question! The big thing comes down to color matching.
Having the ability to control the green and magenta tint of the 600c will make it easier to match your other lights on set so you can accurately balance your camera’s color temp and tint.

Actually the biggest upgrade in the Mk II is the size and coating of the COB.
In the original 600c, they had to make it bigger in diameter compared to the 600d and x which resulted in worse shadows through the F10 Fresnel and softer shadows without modifier.
IP54 is a big plus also
