Honky tonk man is the greatest intercontinental champion of all time. Because he says so. Lol This figure utterly destroys everything in the past. The rubber singlet is fantastic. I love it. I got two of these guys (along with the chase million dollar man in the white . Love this wave I’m Going to customize one of these yellow into an aqua blue.
Seeing all the Perfects side by side shows this one to be a big upgrade. I am pretty happy with the flexible singlet as well, so all in all a great addition. The change for me has to be the massive knee pads... an easy custom job but I just want Mattel to get that right. Hoping they issue more colour variants of this same figure - KotR 93 or Summerslam 91, and especially a NWO Curt Hennig!
This figure minus the singlet is PERFECT. Mattel always talk about budget but they spend it on stuff we don't want like singlet & hip drop down. Give us belts and shiny ones not dull basic belts (Usos, Rey Legends, or missing UE belts).

Loved it when Perfect spurned the horsemen for the nWo. He solidified it as the strongest faction in the history of professional wrestling. I've got 3 of these, straps up straps down and MoC.
Great review. I always remember him wearing the blue so maybe if they do this one in blue then I'll bite. I also think his face is a little too plump here... The original Blue WWE Elite has a slimmer face which looks better IMO...

My favorite singlet Mr. Perfect wore was Blue/Black/pink/yellow. Second is doublemint gum green and black. Fourth is orange and black. Fifth is Yellow and black. Least is the GameStop exclusive black and white. As Curt Henning I don't like the nwo singlets. Head to your Target before it closes. I read articles Target has been closing a ton of stores. Especially the last three months.

Mr Perfect wasn’t one who would take down the straps in WWF but Hennig did all the time in the nWo. He’d wrestle with one strap down or wear the nWo shirt with both straps down.
I started watching WWE at age 2 during the RA era and still to this day I'll never forget the first time my dad showed me Mr. Perfect, still to this day he's my favorite wrestler from the early 90's. I'm in college right now so I haven't been able to go figure hunting as much, I had no clue he had a figure in stock and when I found it I bought it right away. I just got back into collecting around 2 years ago so thank you for always keeping me updated!
I remember watching Curt Henning and his dad Larry wrestle tag-team in the old Brendan Byrne area. Good times. Mr. Perfect is one of my favorites for sure. He used to smack the gum and was an AWESOME worker!
I might pick this one up. I feel the last Mr P figures Mattel put out made him look way too skinny. This one he's a little more muscular. Still hoping they eventually put out a blue/black singlet.
I like this Mr. Prefect figure. I didnt have a wrestling Perfect in my collection, I had the suited BAF one which is cool, but not as cool as this one. I like the idea of the pull down singlet top, but I dont think im ever gonna use it. It's cool they are using that on the figures going forward, but I honestly wouldn't have been opposed to a painted on singlet either. With that being said, IC title and the towel look great. This is probably the best Perfect figure to date.
How cool would it be to get a throwback series with a Larry the Axe Hennig ? And Ray Stevens and guys like that . Not sure how they would sell though . Me personally would love it !
Kinda like the soft rubber singlet, and if you pull his head off, the towel fits around his neck and under his hair

I’m on the fence with Mr Perfect, I didn’t really know him as Mr Perfect, I knew him as Kurt Henning with the NWO.
I mean I knew of Mr Perfect from WWWF history from before I really got into wrestling.

Mattel painted the globe on the IC title wrong for this release. I didn't notice until it had it lined up to the Razor Ramon UE figure.
A cloth singlet with his AWA tights underneath would be cool . Maybe its just me .
