I'm a pastor and three months ago I had a stroke that paralyzed the left side of my body. Two weeks after the stroke while in the hospital I listened to this song over and over. It was so exact at touching my injured soul that I just sobbed uncontrollably. It felt like every single word was a prophetic word to my heart. This song helped me work through my grief and keep me from becoming depressed. I can now walk-it's not pretty but I know it will improve.

My husband has been cheating on me. He justifies and blames me. He is full of rage directed at me because of my past. Im a stay at home mom of 3 children under 8 years old. I am a recovering drug addict, clean for about 3 years and alcoholic. I have only been sober since September 10th. I cannot make sense of these things and I have to make a conscious decision to Trust God even through this turmoil. I know my Heavenly Father is here, near me and my children. This song helps me Trust Him through all of this insanity.

Jenna, I am so sorry for what you are going through! There evidently was a past that was so dark that it drew you to addiction in the first place. Now you are clean, but still bound to things that help you numb all the pain in your life. The pressures in life are never going to quit; even if your husband became the most wonderful man in the world. Your three children will grow and as they grow so will the challenges that accompany each child. What am I saying...you need now and will need forever someone who will be there for every season in your life. There is only one I know who will always be there for you - Jesus, the lover of your soul, the one who laid down his life for you to be free and for you to be whole. Jenna, right now after reading this post, surrender your all to him and allow him to do a deep work in your heart and life. When we give him our all we then are placing our entire life in his hands without reservation and we become fully his property and responsibility. God has better for you Jenna than what you are now living...and you can have what he promised, "A more abundant life." Everyone who reads your post will now pray for you Jenna! We love you and believe in you!

My mother is an addict , my father an alcoholic. I'm 23 7 months after I get married I move my 14 year old brother to my tiny 2 bedroom apartment in hopes of a better life. My father had a seizure due to taking to many pills 2 months ago . I moved my whole family(except my mom) into a house that I rent a month afterwards we found out my father will not be getting any more money from a trust fund from his parents .... our main income. We are making it for now but I refuse to lose my faith! I heard this song and just busted into tears! I listen to this song on a daily basis to just remind myself to trust in god no matter what

I just want to give everyone hope on UA-cam. My cousin was 19 years old and was extremely sick for the entire summer of 2016 and we found out on September 2nd, 2016 that it was cancer. Trust in You was her fight song through her journey. Things only got worse, her kidneys started failing and she was in the hospital for three weeks getting worse every single day. They had to put a ventilator in her because her breathing was so bad. Well 32 days later she passed away to an extremely rare Small Tissue Sarcoma at 19 years old. My entire family has always been in church and my grandparents are pastors so we believed she would be healed or be raised like Lazarus. That didn’t happen. Every single day was so hard for our family because we were so close and we believed she would be healed. My aunt started going around telling my cousins story with her husband (my uncle) by her side. Well in 2019 my uncle let everyone know that he was no longer a believer and left my aunt after 25 years of marriage because he “did not love her like that anymore” and “couldn’t get over my cousins death”. Well my aunt was a complete mess, her entire family had fallen apart in just a few years. She stayed faithful, trusting in God to move. Today marked 4 years since we lost my cousin and my aunt is in Mississippi speaking at a women’s conference about everything through the years. God is so faithful! She is being used in the ministry and has been asked to speak at several other conferences about their story! Everyone, God is faithful just trust him!!💕

The first time I heard this song was after my brother gave me the news that he had cancer. Two years later while we were preparing a slideshow with his photos for a service to honor and celebrate his life in the church, my sister in law told me, "that was his favorite song" this has been a difficult journey for the family;my brother said in the hospital bed I know where I'm going and who I've trusted, doctors and nurses said they never had a cancer patient with such joyful attitude. There are thins we don't understand, but I trust you Lord.

I listened to this song all throughout the process of studying for my NCLEX (nursing licensure exam). I listened to it a few minutes before going in and taking the test; it always relaxes me and helps me focus on Who is on my side and there to help me. And He did! I am a testament to His mercy and faithfulness! I passed in 75 questions (the minimum) and had an attitude of calm and peace all during that 24 hours! He is SO faithful and good to us!!

Again, we are plainly told that THE LORD brought the evil upon Job (Job 42:11), but you read that and say that He didn't, because of its "limited content." You want to conjure up your own "context" so that you can avoid the truth. God creates evil (Isaiah 45:7), and He does it for our ultimate good, which is the "UNLIMITED content" of the book of Job...and the "full story" of the entire bible. 1) Yes, God created everything, including evil
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, AND CREATE EVIL: I the Lord do ALL these things.
2 & 3) Satan afflicted Job because God gave it to him to do it. Notice how (If you read the "full story") God told Satan BOTH times how far to go with Job:
Job 1:12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, ALL THAT HE HAS IS IN THY POWER (In "context," God commissions Satan to punish Job); only upon himself put not forth thine hand
Job was given strict instructions NOT to touch Job's body, and that, in this instance, is as far as Satan went. So yes, God...through Satan, brought evil upon Job. Secondly,
Job 2:5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
6 And the Lord said unto Satan, BEHOLD, HE IS IN THINE HAND, BUT SAVE HIS LIFE
Once again, the "full story" is presented here...God, by His sovereign authority, puts Job in Satan's hand, and allows him to bring physical evil on Job, and Satan does what he is commissioned to do. This is why in Job 42:11, we are told that THE LORD brought the evil on Job, and He did it through Satan.
4) It was Job's self-righteousness that was brought to the surface. Pray tell, if Job didn't "turn against God," WHY DID JOB REPENT????
Job 42:3 (This is obviously Job speaking) Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? THEREFORE HAVE I UTTERED THAT I UNDERSTOOD NOT; THINGS TOO WONDERFUL FOR ME, WHICH I KNEW NOT.
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
6 WHEREFORE I ABHOR MYSELF, AND REPENT IN DUST AND ASHES
Innocent people don't need to repent..therefore, Job was not innocent. Maybe it's YOU who should learn to read the entire book. I don't mind your childish rants and anger. The Word of God, rightly divided, is the best weapon against people like you. Thank you once again for continuing this conversation, and allowing me to present the truth.

After a time of prayer when I was particularly fearful I opened my Bible at my bookmark and immediately my eyes fell on the second half of Luke 8:50 "Don't worry, only believe, and she will be well". Don't worry. You are not alone. I was oppressed by my family, and especially my mother, for being a believer. God did amazing things to me. I am on top now - happily retired in two countries. My late wife believed in God, but she did not believe in me. God summoned her to explain things to her. She loves me now from the world we don't see.

I miss both of my parents every day.
My mom died from Uterine Cancer (October-2012)
My dad died he had a massive stroke (June-2014)
My parents both met in the 9th grade, and they got married after my dad came home from Vietnam War in 1968.
My oldest son dad died on Christmas 2006
My grandmom died May 2020
My family pet died June 2020
My oldest brother was murder on August 27, 2020(shot and killed in front his baby boy at 7-Eleven store)
in Richmond, Virginia.

I understand emotional pain and losses - it's the kind that hurts to the core and you feel there is nothing you can do; but that is when the power of God steps in with His grace, mercy, love and peace. Peace that surpasses all understanding. I remember nearly losing a marriage of 25 years. It took a little more than a year to repair, but I trusted and leaned on the power of God and also asked Him to show me ME. I pray for each of you. Many blessings to you all, in Jesus's name.

I am 15, during this quarantine I have strayed far from God. Yet somehow he still holds it entirely. I know he is steering me the right way. Yes, sometimes I might think the path he is leading me isn't right for me, but I also know He knows what is best for me.
