Love how he lets us continue to grow up with him. I thought as a kid that 10+ years down the line I wouldn't be watching his content anymore but here I am as an adult still watching him and the content he makes has developed with me. These vlogs of his life is perfect for me especially with how Japan is where I also want to spend the rest of my days when I retire, almost feels like I'm watching my future/dream.
He's made my childhood and looks like he's making my adulthood to.
His son has the opportunity to be fluent in Italian, Swedish, Japanese AND English. That’s crazy cool to me!!
they'll have to actively put in a lot of work with him for him to be speak italian and swedish fluently though. If he goes to Japanese school he'll become native-like in Japanese and his parents speak english to each other at home so those will likely be his stronger languages.

it works best when the child learns the language of the country theyre first in then they move to another country with a seperate language, they will naturally learn that language, and the previous language should be spoken at home and be used in the media they watch

English is the language they speak at home and will be Bjorn's first language, but it's neither of his parents' first language, and living in Japan he's not going to be around many native english speakers (unless Joey and Aki for example end up babysitting him a lot). Is it possible his english is going to end up sounding just a little weird? I imagine his japanese might turn out better.
Either way, that's a rare situation isn't it? The first language of the mom, the first language of the dad, the first language of the people of the country he lives in and his own first language being all different (although maybe once he learns to speak japanese it will count as a first language too).
I'm afraid he will have a lot of troubles in all of those languages.

@@getters4857 To clarify, they were worried if Edgar would be fine in the cargo hold for pets due to his breathing problems etc. health issues, and checked with every airline if it would be possible to take Edgar up into the cabin. His dog carrier's dimensions were little bit too large for any airline to accept him into the cabin. So as a final option they took a private jet to make sure that Edgar doesn't need to travel in the pet cargo.
