I’ve never been a Dakar guy always been Mx and Sx guy but just think how fast they are not really knowing the terrain now think about how fast they would be if they knew the terrain 👀

No pre running period in Dakar?
No pre running in Dakar. You only find pre running at the Baja 1000 or Mint400. Rallye Dakar never has had pre running and hopefully never will. its way more interesting with out .

GasGas is literally a part of KTM. So it is a KTM in GasGas colours.

In my opinion it is definitely a great bike and a great brand, but not really a switch of the equipment.
Kris Horstson Ahhh I understand. Yes, her Dakar bike is literally the KTM with GasGas written on the side! I’m sure that once they sort it all out there will be some other changes but the engine, frame and suspension will all be the same... which is a big shame. However, at least the GasGas brand isn’t going to disappear altogether.

I hope that WP suspension on the GasGas rally bike isn't representative of KTM dropping the excellent KYB suspension on new GasGas units.
They've already said they're dropping the KYB, and the motor. It's going to be a red KTM.
You can't expect KTM that own WP to put their competitors forks on their bike...
