I knew about and played this game thanks to Nintendo Power which was how I knew about Rhythm Heaven DS back when that first released. The fact that this game got neglected as soon as it released is unfortunately par for the course for a game made by SEGA.
yknow when you were just recapping the minigames i was almost about to say "huh, maybe this game WASNT as bad as i thought it was," and then you talked about everything else and everything came rushing back to me
The moment they introduced Napoleon as a major antagonist it kind of stained the plot for me. Because yes, Napoleon was a big deal hundreds of years ago, but what kind of authority would he have in the modern age? Then the protagonist starts landing on and making 10-meter jumps from glass while* holding a gal, and somehow his dog is still around by the end of it!
The reason why the return of deceased villains is a big deal in other stories, such as Naruto, is because they themselves are the source of immense strength. And because the world around them hasn't changed too drastically, so they still know what's up. But Napoleon in the modern age? You'd have better luck to scare me with a baguette! What's gramps gonna do?! Knock me with a history book?! Why doesn't he use Wikipedia instead? Is he stupid?!
I recently picked this back up this and I still never finished it since I got stuck on the glider stage both when I picked it up and even now. It feels like such bs
I disagree with most of if not all of this video. I too am pissed off about that cliffhanger though. But this video made me sad due to the fact I had to hear someone say harsh opinions about Rhythm Thief. And DID YOU JUST SAY THE RHYTHM THIEF FANBASE IS DEAD?!
@@LuggicianThere are still fans begging for a sequel and would basically take anything related to the game, like the main theme being in the new Samba de Amigo.
YOOOOOOOO RHYTHM THIEF VID! THIS IS PEAK.
I am so sorry
@@Luggiciannah, you're right. It was pretty flawed but it was super charming which is why I love it so much!
@@Luggicianwhy are you apologizing?

Didn't expect to see Dr. Amigo here.

Yes, it is dead. Don't worry, I'm an Elite Beat Agents fan so I know the pain.
