Hi. I enjoyed you talking about the tolsta tank test knit. I’m also doing this test knit and am almost finished. I’m about to pick up the stitches for the edging. I’m doing the fingering weight square neck in a size 8. Taking forever!

Ahh fun! You’re brave to do the fingering weight lol. But I’m sure it looks gorgeous!

For the folded part a on the tolsa tank you should try knitting the inside folded part a little tighter. Think of it as a lining, you want it to be just a few mm smaller than out the outside as the inside circumference is difference. I don’t think I explained that well but hopefully you know what I mean. I have been on a folded hem kick lately and loving the look for summer tees. Ribbing just makes them look too sweatery in my opinion.

No you totally make sense! If I didn’t have to take out the whole straps to do that I would haha. But I’ll definitely keep that in mind for next time. Maybe going down a needle size on only the inside would do it?
And I totally agree! Folded hem gives it such a polished look!

@@birchandlily if you have half sizes going down half a needle size might work. I’ve done it with a 3mm when the rest is knit with a 4mm and it was too much. But that was for the whole hem of a sweater, might work ok for a smaller distance.

Fun fact, knitting was used for soldiers who had PTSD after the second word war to help calm them. Thanks for sharing 👩‍🌾🐑
