I have 4 Ayam Cemani chicks and got them for $75. Local breeder sells them for $25 each and she gave me a free one because it was a late hatcher and smaller than all the others. Ok, I stopped watching when they listed Orpington. They are not rare or expensive. I bought mine for $4 and Tractor Supply has them every year.
Some of these chickens are not recognised as a standardised breed, and some are not expensive or rare. And the music in the back ground, or should I say foreground, is nothing but annoying.
The one breed that I was expecting but wasn’t on there were Yokohamas of which there are 2 varieties, red shoulder and the white. Very hard to find and suffer easily to with stress if not care for proper. They are, when full grown, 10-12 lbs chickens. The males have tail feathers that can get as long as 10 ft and are expensive to buy when full grown. Starting at around $200 and up. The chicks are slow to mature and they love human companionship. In the 1940 the breed was nearly extinct. Original from Japan and taken to France the are best keep in hot weather as the don’t do well with the cold and in the winter must be kept at a minimum of 68 degrees.
Yokohamas are just lower tier onagadoris they’re not as expensive are the true onagadori. But then again most UA-camrs have no credentials they just randomly make claims spice them up and do it for views.
Good video but I raise all three varieties of Brahmas light Sussex and buff Orpington and they are not expensive breed any breed of chicken that is show quality is general over 35 dollars apiece or more
Couple breeds on this list are very common, and very inexpensive. The breed that I raise, Swedish Flower Hens, should be added. They are rare and rather expensive.
Dong Tao might be expensive, all the others you can get for just €10-35 (less then a bag of feed, 20kg). An Onagadori egg costs €200, imagine a fully grown male with a 10m long tail, that´s a couple of thousands euros. Fighters like Shamo also can go for €200-300, African Malayan fighter also + - €300-500.
"Dong Tao's legs look exactly like those of dragons." That's funny. Because there's not such thing as dragons. They're mythical beasts. "Wealthy people can only afford meals with Dong Tao Chicken." Did you mean to say "Only wealthy people can afford these meals?..." "Their beaks are small, yet big." Who writes this stuff?
You don't know nothing about chickens, kadaknath isn't an Endian breed , it's Indonesian ayam cemani which they imported from Indonesia and as usual they give them an endian name kadaknath .
Wow, who would’ve thought chickens could be this expensive! 🐓💎 Each breed really has its own story, but the Ayam Cemani totally blew my mind. 😮 Has anyone here ever seen such unique chickens before? Can't wait to hear your stories! 👇
Ayam cemani aren’t that expensive, none of these breeds are actually expensive, show silkies are expensive depending on quality but the most expensive in the world isn’t even dong tao. It’s the oviraptor looking parrot beaked shamo. There are also 3 other unique breeds with very little known info on. One is the ayam bekasir the other two are cerato shamo and Kurdish hexadactyls. The first one has coloration that looks like a Himalayan pheasant, the second one latterly has a horn the third one is the only bird in the world with 12 toes. There’s also another breed with actual bright blue meat and a beautiful wayendotte like blue and white color pattern i hear it’s a type of shamo, but so far only seen a few images so they’re still work in progress. There’s also another breed which is a competitor to the ayam bekasir with beautiful multicolored feathers but that breed does not seem to have an actual name.
@@nv_chino I just came back only to see the reply with the link gone. Probably some UA-cam nonsense. But there’s another way. Both the cerato shamo and K.hexadactyls belong to the same individual. So the easiest way to find the second breed is to just write “Cerato shamo” once you do the search. The top result shows the cerato shamo. The second result right below shows the Kurdish hexadactyl.
Why couldn't he list a breed such as a Friesian chicken. Those are extremely rare world wide and they are unknown by many. Orpingtons are not rare whatsoever the only variety of Orpington I would call "rare" is the Lavender variety.
Sorry i cant agree. As most of These chickens are not really hard to get. Especially with ayam cemani. They are like 10€ for a grown up Bird. I have most of These Chickens and i love them. Maybe in the US they might be expensive.
It depends on the quality. If you get from a hatchery they aren’t worth anything really. If you get from a breeder that only breeds show quality silkies they can go for $50+ a chicken.
The words "breed" and "species" are NOT interchangeable. Other than the verb definition (to engage in all the different aspects of reproduction), breed referes to strains of domestic animals, while species refer to wild animals.
It's a shame that the music was drowning out the commentary!
Loos the music or liwer it...my friend...
Youre info is more imporrent
Very informative. Music is just very loud.
Great video! I would turn the music down a bit there was a few parts that it was really hard to hear all the great information you were telling us.
End the music! Hard to hear what's being said!
So, "YES!" .... I agree!
I immediately tried turning the music down but accidentally turned it up all the way. AHHHH!
You must be damn proud of that music, can't hear a word you're saying.
Music is too loud and annoying ... js
Why is the background music so noisy?
Very nice video with a lot of useful information. But please....the next time without music!!!!!
Your music too loud can't here what you are saying.
Music is annoying...
No, not having these chickens for food is. Butcher Bay would be a great name; for a butcher Shop.
Ah man, the music is way too loud. I was really looking forward to enjoying this video!
This video makes me want to start my own exotic chicken farm! It’s crazy how much people value certain breeds - but they are absolutely beautiful
"Background music" is so loud, it is hard to hear what you are saying.
Thanks for using a video of my brahma farm & especially showing my name in the video. Have a great day

Show quality are expensive, hatchery stock isn’t.
Some of these chickens are not recognised as a standardised breed, and some are not expensive or rare. And the music in the back ground, or should I say foreground, is nothing but annoying.
Neither Silkies nor Opringtons, and especially the Orpington, is an expensive nor rare bird.
Brahma's are not rare, neither.............
May depend on availability where you live?
I bought my Orpington rooster for $10
Pretty sure an AI made this video.
I have Jersey Giants & may not cost much per chicks....but they eat like Jersey Giants for sure!! Beautiful 15 lb. Roosters!!🐔
I like how he says these are only for noble rich people but most of these I’ve seen on homesteads in the south 😂
Good video spoilt by the addition of crap music get rid of it
This chicken video is very fun to watch 😁 keep making videos
Stopped watching, what an abnoying loud music
Alot of interesting ones in there!!! Some beautiful ones too.

I love the chickens I have which are the Cream Crested Legbar variety from England. They lay blue/green eggs and are a joy to keep.
The video is meant to be about how expensive the chickens are but no price on most of them… that’s the reason why I watched the video.
Very interesting 🐓
Couple breeds on this list are very common, and very inexpensive. The breed that I raise, Swedish Flower Hens, should be added. They are rare and rather expensive.
That’s actually not true they’re very cheap for fancy breeds but for some reason douchetube keeps deleting my replies.
Black Cemani is Legend Chickens from Indonesia
nice video but messed up with music in background
Could barely hear the information due to that annoying, overpowering music!
Thank you for the information, inspiration for my channel, greetings one hobby from Indonesia
The chickens are so adorable
Amazing
The lousy music is so loud that it is difficult to hear the nice commentary.

Ayam cemani and kadaknath is really not difference but name is not same

Brahma chickens will eat twice the food of a regular breed chicken.
I have four Silkies. Two males and one female. The fourth one is a cross-breed with a spotted hen.
Why some birds not included in your vlog, like american fowl, orinoko, Mexican fowl Peruvian fowl, Indian fowl?
Swedish black hen price sand me'.thanks.
Good video but the background music kills the video
Music is too loud
Hi are eggs available
Why don't you buy some of Adele king of roaster
I wish you would remove the music from your video. It is very difficult to hear the voiceover information and ruins the experience.
Pavlovskaya are not expensive and lay way more than 100 eggs i can tell you that as a breeder off this breed
I have two babies, and thats good to hear
music is too big, cannot hardly hear the descriptions.
13:08 its Indonisia breed

Turn the music down I struggled to hear the voice properly.
Do content on GAME FOWL,
they are more expensive than all of them put together .
Very very loud background music I can't understand what you are saying

Nope.. US here, mostly, they are not
Where did you get your facts from? They are inaccurate.
I was thinking that ayam cemani and kadaknath are same breed
I have also same breed
My Ayam Cemini chickens were 3-4 dollars....
Market rate? Which place? How many months old
Fine and good Gheh ñ
Can't watch. The music is too loud
What would a pair of silkies go for.
It depends on the quality. If you get from a hatchery they aren’t worth anything really. If you get from a breeder that only breeds show quality silkies they can go for $50+ a chicken.
Fully depends where you live and availability. Where I live they are quite common and a breeding pair could easily be purchased for below 30usd
