I haven’t seen so much hype for a game in a while. The best part is that it’s worth the hype. It’s a highly enjoyable game.
I gotta say, I've put on some of Malf's and Ryan's Balatro vids as background audio while I play other stuff, but you've actually made me interested in the game.
Only scoring cards receive bonuses from jokers. Adding a random diamond to a hand doesn’t yield diamond related bonuses unless it’s part of the “hand” as it were
It hurt so luch to see him discarding a 5th card so many times
I havent watched the whole vid yet, but I hope to god someone told Baer that only scoring cards get scored, not played cards. (or that he figured it out himself)

The one downside with the game is the amount of back seating that comes with it in the comments and chat, but beyond that it's a very hype little game. I could easily see this be an indie GOTY

Baer... Man. I've been a fan, a daily viewer, even someone who goes back and re-watches your old series, for almost 8 years now... But seriously. Dude. The first stream I catch that isn't a sponsored ad, or darkest dungeon... and it's POKER? When people say someone's changed... I feel like that would be an understatement :/ Your entire thing used to be random, off-the-wall fun content with great commentary... But for like 2 years now it's essentially been watching the same 10 videos on repeat... I don't know what happened, or what could've caused this, or maybe it's just me growing older... But Baer, please... I look forward to a time where you step out of the shadows again man.

I'm only half an hour in, so Baer might figure it out yet, but a couple of things I wanted to say that he seems unaware of. You can use multiple discards right after one another and that you can play a hand with less than five cards, since without specific jokers cards not actively part of the hand don't do anything (might still be played just to cycle them)
