I just got two new hives off my swarms. Pretty happy!! I don’t leave the property often so I get to keep a very close eye. Thank goodness they swarmed low!!
I had my first unexpected swarm today... I felt like I failed... I checked them... split them... they still fooled me... I didn't like the stress of possible lost bees!😢
Wes, I have a 310 pound 6 foot high monster hive that puts on 5-10 pounds/day. They swarmed a 3 frame colony a week ago and I expect more swarms. What is the best way to share bees/honey with their new swarm colonies?
April showers brings swarms to flowers 🐝🐝

Even if they leave, their offspring come back eventually.
What goes around comes around.

@SecureAcresNaturalBees * Well, the bees trick me today!
@@SecureAcresNaturalBeesI split a colony that swarmed a second time within a week last week. Two new hives now :))

I personally wouldn't add bees or feed them, but if you want to feed you can give them some honey on the interior of the hive.
