This is one I intend to watch again and again! The joy you find in creating shines through. Thank you for reminding me of the "Yes. And...?" approach - a great reminder to let go of finding perfect.
You are my hero. I love your smile, and the look on your face when you work. I don’t have a dedicated place to work and it just bothers the heck out of me. I love your work and I love your process.
Hi Denise, I hope you’ll be able to find a place to work before too long. I had a coaching client a few years ago who got a multi-layered cart where she put her supplies. She’d roll out plastic onto her kitchen table and set things out to work. It worked fairly well for her.
I love this so much. To work through all stages in the same unattached flow of the beginning is a goal I certainly have. Oh, and I LOVE clothes lines, too. Some of my paintings have them, and some more will soon! They're so cozy, and remind me of my childhood! Thank you Jacqui!
Hi Jan, I just found this comment from you. Great to hear from you! We're at Lake Chelan for a week and I'm updating a bunch of computer stuff. I checked a link to this video. Bill was sitting here eating a bowl of cereal and asked if I had any comments about my video. We found this wonderful one from you. He says hi.
I paint on cradled panel. It is fine plywood with a frame attached to the back. For a final coat, varnish (I like Golden polymer varnish) is best. The Golden Acrylics website has good product info. I attach a wire to the panel frame with hangers that are made for this. Frame shops often sell these. I like wire that has a plastic coating. It’s easier on your hands.
By the way, I love chickens too! I make "Chickmas" Cards every year. I raised them til this past year when a critter decimated my flock and picked them off one by one.. My hens all had names, Rufus, Rouge, Russet, ( Rhode island reds) Freckles, Dottie, ( Barred Rock) Peacock, Shimmer, ( they were Black and irridencent not sure what they were) Nugget ( she was a buff orpington) then there were the Ameracaunas: Buffie, Sadie, Riddle, Fran, Agnes and many others........ we had 3 Roosters, RusselCrowe, Horatio Hornblower and Spotted Dick (its a name of a pudding in england with raisens in it) hahaha
Extraordinary artist, so nice and beautiful Jacki, I adore.

I re-watch my videos from time to time. I enjoy being reminded of important things that have gone off to back-burners too 🌞
Oh - I am so glad to "meet" you! Thank you for sharing your artistry - your - painting - your dance!
And thank you, Mary for this lovely note. 🌞
So happy to have found you 😊

Thanks Ulrike. I love clotheslines too. I think they are beautiful and they remind me of home.

Wonderful...
Love your process. Not sure how you come up with chicles or clothes?
I’m not sure what you mean. Do you mean how I come up with the content of my paintings?
What a painting! Awesome artist!😊👍👍👍
how do you hang it if its a wood or hardboard panel
how do you seal the wood or hardboard

How sad that you lost all your chickens. I love their names, especially Spotted Dick.
So sorry you lost your flock
Researching, is this your work?
Yes it is. 🌻
