Each year in the Spring, mud trucks from all over the South invade Louisiana Mudfest in Colfax, Louisiana for one of the largest, muddiest, craziest off-road parties on the map! Trucks Gone Wild crews on-site just motivate abuse of that skinny pedal even further - April 19-22, 2012.

Okay call me stupid. I drive an 02 'Stroke and was always told that diesels aren't fit for mud because of the torque a gas achieves so early. After watching this it seems you guys have a TON of crude burning trucks....what's your take?

diesels can do mud if set up right but the reason there usually isn't a lot out there is not really a power or torque issue. Its more of a weight issue. They are about twice as heavy as its gasser counterpart. When diesels sink they usually sink deep fast, so you need an equal or heavier rig to pull them out. Gassers for the most part don't have the weight to the ground to pull out stuck diesels so they end up digging themselves a hole.
