Glee Flash Mob & Marriage Proposal (Seattle - 2012)

- On April 21, 2012, nearly 1000 flash mobbers came together in Seattle to celebrate the 3rd Annual Glee Flash Mob in what has become the biggest Glee fan event in the country! They too were surprised when in the middle of the mob there was a marriage proposal. The show is all about diversity and love, and the mob celebrates every facet of the show. You might even see Mr. Schue if you look hard enough...

There's NO COMPETITION. Best flashmob proposal ever! Kudos, Seattle. The newly engaged couple was appropriately wrapped up in one another while the Gleebs danced and sang all around them. What a party!!!
This was fantastic. How in the world was this organized? I wish this couple a lifetime of love and happiness.

i love this because it represents glee. people of different races, genders, sexualities, ages, socio-economic statuses coming together, united by the music. feeling special because of it.
This is the type of thing that makes Seattle such a great place to live.

This is by far, BY FAR the best flash mob proposal ever! EVER! I like the one that was done at Disneyland with the Bruno Mars song but this! THIS is just great! Its epic and legit and its a true mob. I love it! I can watch this every day.

@Paris Haines, we don't call out specific dancers for doing well or not doing well. It misses the point of the flash mob. To participate, to give, to spread joy, to connect with others...that's the point.

The cynic in me rails at the stupidity, but the tidy crumb of humanity inside battles to the surface and make me weep every time I watch this. I need to believe in the possibility of their happiness together and retreat.

We had a big flash mob community here in Seattle. We advertised it via Facebook. In 2010, we had 1000 participants in the Glee Flash Mob. In 2011, 1300! In 2012, around 800-900, and then it faded from there. We financed it through donations. The groom didn't spend a cent :)
